This app seems like it was written by someone who Googled how to make an app, and followed the instructions poorly. The scheduling is worthless. You would think you can schedule to have your tub heated to a temp at a time, and later have it reduce the temp to save power. Alas, it's not that. Set a schedule, and there's a high probability it will not enforce it. It takes the app FOREVER to update the temperature.

I've reluctantly used this app over the last few years. Unsupported app that hasn't been updated for as long as I've had it. Customer service number is disconnected. Intermittently goes offline for no good reason as my Internet connection is strong. All this and I have to pay $36/year to use that app. Wish there was an alternative to remotely connecting to my tub.

Your SmartTub app is version 8.1.8, released in 2025, so it is supported. Spa connectivity depends on cellular providers, who are migrating to LTE and 5G. Given the spa's age, connectivity issues may arise. We can check this and discuss SmartTub modules supporting multiple carriers and WiFi. Contact us at support@smarttub.net.

Very disappointed! I paid for the annual subscription and was then told that the 3g connection will no longer work and they are jumping to a 5g platform that will cost $300 + installation. I have a perfectly good lte phone and don't know if the new 5g connection will even work with my phone. Gave up phone technical support after 40 minutes of no answer. Argh!!
