Old School RuneScape is RuneScape how you used to know. It was first released in 2013 and is based on RuneScape as it was way back in 2007. It’s the only MMORPG in the world that is shaped by its players, with developers releasing new, regular content that has been voted for by the fans!

2/5 solely for the mobile app. It's RuneScape, been having an absolute blast otherwise, but the app literally just doesn't work some days. Unacceptable. Currently been trying to pull it up over the course of several hours to no avail. Some quick googling shows this has been an issue for years with little to no direct communication regarding it. Nothing like an app that works for days and then just refuses to connect suddenly. This is basic stuff that shouldn't be an issue!

If you DC from the servers then try to log back in, the game always crashes now. New mobile UI is nice but the issue persists where the game will crash 100% of the time when I DC from the server and try to log back in. Frustrating, and still happening every single time. Doesn't matter if I enable background data use, no battery restrictions, etc. if you dc and try to login again the game will crash every single time.

Long time player, and love the game. It has issues, like no customer support, and too many bots, but it used to be reasonably priced, and couldn't just buy your what to the top. Also, it didn't have ads. Now, the new owners, CVC/ the Carlyle group, are actively trying to ruin it by making it a pay to win game with ads. Don't waste your time with this game, people are quitting en mass, leaving only bots to play with. They also want to implement absurd pricing schemes.
