Useful! I've used it for about 20min now to start writing a small novel. There are some minor things I would like to see (if possible) added: Options to change font size and line seperation lengths, an option to be able to send saved files to E-Mail or other shared services. I love the autosave function also! I hope to see more changes in the future, I'll be using this app for a long time :)
Amazing Writer is one of the best utility apps for Android. I love it's simplicity and especially it's markdown support. As far as future improvement goes, I'd love to see widget shortcuts to specific documents, swipe-to-delete, and the capability to export to a .docx file. (I know this can be done manually, but markdown has to be converted by hand, which could be quite tedious.)
A very good start! This is a great foundation for what many of us are looking for in a Android text editor. A lot like WriteRoom for iOS. With the addition of Dropbox sync, customizable folder location, subfolder support in the notes list, and search, this would become my text editor of choice. Ideal for my Scrivener workflow. At the moment it's not quite there. So close though. Add those features. I'd pay for them. 4 stars for the potential alone.
Highly recommend! I love this app and I probably write more on here than I do at school. The simplicity of it is perfect, although there are a few things missing like an export and back/redo button. Countless times my phone has removed more than needed and there's no way of me undoing this. Besides from that, the way to change the writing size/style is good (when you remember the functions) and the information section in the corner comes in handy. There is only one bug I have come across and that is my documents cloning themselves. Quite frequently I find myself with over 5 of the same document and when deleting them I'm always worried I'll delete the most recent one. Thanks for the great, addless app! It's certainly the best way to capture my 2AM thoughts!
Intuitive and appealing interface I've wanted an app that is for writing for a while, specifically for story telling, and this app has made me more than satisfied. It's simplicity is really where it appeals to me, I'm able to load this app up and begin writing right away and when you're a creative writer being hit with new ideas anywhere, anytime, that is vital. I'm also able to view my latest writing projects effortlessly with the option to show them from most recent to less recent, or I can choose to view them from A-Z. It's definitely replaced the obnoxious notepad that used to bulk up my handbag (praise Oprah), and for someone who was able to type their name before being able to write it this is nothing but useful. I seriously applaud the creator for their idea to create this app, they've made sure I can continue writing (or should I say typing) my ideas and dreams down wherever I am and now I can do it quickly and conveniently too.
Focused Just what I was looking for, minimal and straightforward writing envroinment that allows you nothing but writing. Markdown support is a great thing to have, not too less, not too much. I don't understand 9000 character limit, and I would like a simple way to organize notes into folders. I'm using it on Nexus7. This is even better then iA Writer for apple products, if you ask me.
