Absolutely Perfect! Does everything you need with a simple straight forward interface, including edits and a nice visual display of the last two hours of contractions. Made me look like a birthing pro with our first child's labor.
Here's a hint... It works just fine... But I'll say one thing... If you're using it you're probably not in established labour! Once I got properly started I didn't want to be doing with it anymore. Seems to be the best way to tell. Your contractions can be 5 mins apart right from the beginning. It was when I was getting impatient with people asking me questions that I knew I was right to be phoning the hospital. Then again, some people pop their babas out really quick whereas my labour was a 36 hour odyssey.
Thank you! I've used it for my two false alarms - my husband timed for me, but this is so simple I can even do it myself while having contractions.
Life saver! I was unsure if I had to go to hospital after waking up with contractions. Used this app to time my pain for an hour and sure enough my contractions were less than 5 minutes apart. Threw my hospital bags into the car and made it in time to the delivery room to give birth an hour later. This app was a life saver!
simple & effective i like the simple design.. easy to start &stop.. no fuss and can clearly see the contraction timings. currently using the app now for feeding, just adding in the comments for more info.
Helped me massively in labour! Thank you so much fir a fantastic app, timing my contractions helped me to stay calm and focused during labour, a great way to get you to the middle (hardest) part of the contraction, knowing from that point the pain eases x
Complete rewrite of application, for users with Android 4+ phones:
- Uses the Android Holo theme.
- Can edit any entry.
- Can add comments to entries.
- Added a recent contractions graph.
- Can continue timing the most recent contraction.
- For users who have purchased Contraction Timer Donate, added ability to share times using Android Beam (NFC).
Please note that if your phone doesn't have Android 4 or newer, it will still use the old version of the app.
