It is a great tool that frequently updates the content and breadth of the information being covered
Fantastic Learning tool! ! I'm not new to learning Japanese; I've utilised everything from night school to cd programs and books over many years but i must say I've learnt sooooo much already just in the first few lessons. Jai Sensei has filled in gaps in my understanding and connected many other pieces of information in my brain. The material is easy to follow and take in. Very well put together. I was so pleased with the free trial that i invested in the full set of lessons and resources. Subarashi!
PLEASE ALLOW US TO ADD OUR OWN VOCABS! I have a list of compound kanji i want to learn how to write. Your app does not allow me to add my own vocab in! Example:月夜. Also, I should be able to search the entire vocabulary, not by themes only.
Amazing! I chanced upon this app & it's the first I downloaded to help kick-start my learning. I expected myself having to try several other apps before finding one I was comfortable with. However, to my amazement, I got hooked on to this one. There's everything a beginner needs; writing, reading, and of course, knowledge on culture, which, I have learned, is a huge factor when learning the language. I am so glad to have found this app, and am very appreciative for the dedication the creators have put into it.
Easy access Synchronising between mobile, tablet and website is a plus in this comprehensive app. I have three comments. (1) Attempting to use the internet website and Android app simultaneously is confusing due to differences in their setup and access. Suggested learning strategies for new users would be helpful. (2) I wish more Romaji (in addition to Kana and Kanji) would be included in the later lessons to satisfy the various needs of the learners. (3) Several French words mistakenly used in the English version.
The best I have tried many apps to learn Japanese and Ja Sensei is the best of the good dozen I've tried so far. The only thing I regret is that while it's perfect on a tablet, it's not really as practical on a smartphone. But one can still use it with success.
New module: "Japanese Culture"!
