Good app for learning hangeul for those of us who need to write from memory to really learn. It's too easy to skate by on basic pattern recognition in the early phases of learning Korean. I found myself acing flashcards but being totally hopeless writing down listening exercises. This app can help. I do wish it had more advanced listening/writing challenges. But I'm glad it helped me memorize in a "direction" that is easy to miss for eager beginners.

One of the best apps to learn hangul. It took me only a couple hours to be able to go all the way through each level with no mistakes. And by that time, I had it all memorized already before I had even realized it! And it's still useful months later. I keep the app installed just to practice my handwriting and as a general reference of tones and sounds of the characters.

[PAID VERSION] I give up. I absolutely loved the app. I was using it every single day, and learning a ton. I'd even go back to get a better score on lessons days later. Then it updated and it acted like I was a brand new user again. Frustrated, I started over. Now, it's updated and erased all of my progress AGAIN. Such a shame, it's a very simple & attractive app that was really useful for me, but I can't recommend it to anyone at all unless you enjoy losing your work. No way to save progress?
