The interface is clean a well organized, and the app is feature packed with several test methods. The big issue that I have is with the character drawing tool, it is extemely unreliable since you need to draw the characters exactly like the outline. Several of the drawn characters have odd shapes that don't correlate to the actual characters (particularly the "u" character). And finally, there is no way to blindly test your writing (without the outline).

Audio quality is awful - it's nearly impossible to tell ka from a. UI is clunky, but ok. Constant nagging to rate the app. A lot of functionality is paid for(Katakana, N3 to N1 Kanji) and more expensive than other apps. Nice indication on how successful you are in remembering specific characters(based on how many mistakes you make).

It is a great app. It would be nicer if you had visual feedback what you did wrong when drawing failed. Also if you could only practice the drawing as a quiz. There is no explanation whatsoever what kun and on is, either.
