Not specific in regard to birds species id! You show a sparrow for instance which I believe is a Eurasian tree sparrow, but is simply called a sparrow!same with the woodpecker(pileated)!you have to be more accurate than that!children are never too young to know the difference between birds in a specific genus!
I was looking for a different Ring Tone, but the first 4 bird sounds are the only ones that make a sound. Could you fix it, please? Also when I turn on the Bluetooth for me to have Hands Free for my Hearing Aids I cannot hear anything. Not a very good Ringtone if I can't hear it.
App has NOTHING to offer an adult. It is a very basis bird ID app, after downloading the app it tells you it is appropriate for anyone 6 months to 10 years old..........its equal to an Old McDonalds app for your phone.
Love this app but it doesn't work properly Great app but whenever I get to the blackbird it crashes out! I've tried it tons of times with the same result, which is disappointing as I really like this app. Also I live near an owl sanctuary and the owl sounds nothing like any of them nor any owl I've ever heard, which does make me wonder if any other sounds are misleading? I'm using a galaxy s2 running jelly bean - please fix and I will up my rating!!
Nice app but names are overly generic Good quality photos and sounds, but as a bird lover, I appreciate having a bird's real name. That is, this app merely says things like "Owl", "Duck", "Sparrow", "Woodpecker", etc., ignoring the dozens of species that fall into these categories, instead of giving the usual names: "Saw-Whet Owl", "Mallard Duck", "Tree Sparrow", "Pileated Woodpecker", etc.
DOESN'T WORK!!! After I downloaded it and tried to open app..it keeps saying "song birds has stopped" and throws me out of app.
1. Now you can save sounds as Ringtones from menu
2. Better volume control from the app
3. Some Bug fixes
