This app rename Photo/Movie file name automatically.

Renamed file name format :
Photo : [prefix]YYYYMMDD_hhmmss_nnn[postfix].jpg
[prefix][arbitrary string][postfix].jpg
Movie : [prefix]YYYYMMDD_hhmmss_nnn[postfix].mp4
[prefix][arbitrary string][postfix].mp4

Very Simple and Easy!!

The rename of SD card files can be done.

Time Stamp can be gotten from file system or EXIF file.
(When EXIF time stamp is selected, but If EXIF timestamp is not available, file system time stamp is used.)

Supported file extemsions are :
JPG, JPEG, JPE, PNG, GIF, TIFF, TIF, BMP,
AVI, MP4, M4A, MOV, QT, MPEG, MPG, WMV.

[Caution]
Don' forget make backup all PHOTO and MOVIE files on 1st use.

[About Foreground Services]
This app uses "Content Observer" to detect when other apps save photo/video files. To ensure "Content Observer" continues to function even after the user removes this app from the task list, some functions of this app are kept running as foreground tasks.

[Known problems]
- The filename of "Image","Video" and "Recent" in "Files" app is not changed if data is stored in internal storage in Android 8.

Excellent app that allows user to manually set a specific folder for auto renaming. Exactly what I needed. I was about to sell my Sony Xperia phone since the picture counter keeps resetting to #1 everytime which makes it impossible to back up to specific folders. Thank you and keep up the good work.

I'm unable to get the app to do the auto rename for example when I download a file named original.jpg via android chrome, I still get the duplicate file name prompt, as opposed to this app kicking in and auto renaming the file.

Good app. But, please, add possibility to to use old/current file name as a POSTFIX! Or at least add "Specify Filename Body" code for curent file name for example as %Fname% Thanks!
