• Sectioned off Recordings 📦 - While most other audio recorders simply include a title for your recording, micCheck sections all information related to your recording - like attachments, timestamps, clips, and more - into its own concise screen for each recording!
• Timestamps 📝 - The contents of recordings are often difficult to keep track off because there's no CTRL-F for audio! To solve this, micCheck gives first class treatment to timestamps, allowing you to never lose track again.
• Advanced Search 🔍 - Tags, timestamps, groups, and more are all integrated into micCheck's search engine, allowing you to find recordings without needing to remember their title.
• Album like groups 📀 - Group your recordings into class lectures, interviews, jam sessions, or even full concept albums, in a way that works best for audio.
• Built in looper ➿ - Loop sections of your recordings as big or small as you'd like, with the built in playback looper.
• Audio cropping ✂️ - Another feature of the looper allows you to trim the loop sections you make into recordings of your own.

Ratings and reviews

Exactly what I was looking for! I've tried so many recorder apps, and this is the most versatile - and pretty-looking. Great for recording lectures, ideas, thoughts, and then organising and filling-in info (timestamps, attachments) so you can find your way later! Only requests: (1) an auto-naming option - I'm often in a hurry and I need to stop recordings and start new ones on the fly, (2) a "continue recording" option, and (3) a way to add quick timestamps via a tap/volume button/drawbar menu.

The free version work without any problem, no ads, i buy to support the developer. Just a little suggestion, maybe can add enhanced volume, so if we put in pocket or bag, we still can hear the voice clearly.

The app is awesome overall, Never seen features. One thing that bugs is that after recording, scrubbing through the timeline second by second is not working and only works with given 10 sec time skip. Otherwise, this app is game changer. Will be featuring this app in my Twitter channel!

What's new

2.4 Update:
- After many requests, you can now import audio files from your device storage. Prior to this, micCheck was exclusively for recordings made with the app. Try it out by tapping the add icon on your home page, or by sharing an audio file from another app.

- Aesthetic changes (The recording controls will now say "Paused" when a recording has been paused).
