The Land Rover Remote App keeps you in touch with your Land Rover when you’re not in your vehicle, delivering greater control than ever before over security and comfort settings.

The App’s enhanced features, improved functionality and intuitive interface affords peace of mind, more efficient journey planning and greater well-being for you and your passengers.

Use the App to remotely:
- Prepare for a trip by checking fuel range and dashboard alerts
- Locate your vehicle on a map and get walking directions to it
- Check if doors or windows are open
- View journey information
- In the event of a breakdown, request Optimised Land Rover Assistance
- Plan future journeys and sync with your vehicle*
- Connect your favourite music and lifestyle applications to your InControl account for use in vehicle.*

For vehicles with InControl Remote Premium, the following additional features are available:
- Check on your vehicle security status and lock/unlock your vehicle if required
- Cool or heat your vehicle to the desired temperature prior to your journey*
- Locate your vehicle in a crowded car park with ‘beep and flash’ functionality.

Download the Land Rover InControl Remote App and then login using your Land Rover InControl username and password to connect to your vehicle. This App requires subscription to one of the following packages fitted to the vehicle:
- InControl Protect
- InControl Remote
- InControl Remote Premium.

Ratings and reviews

I don't understand why this app gets so much hate. Is it a little slow? Sure, but that's probably more due to the 4G connection to the Land Rover. It always works well enough for me, reliably locking and starting the Disco when I want it to. One feature request: let me turn on the heated seats when setting climate, that would be dope.

I would expect better quality app from Land Rover. Every time I remote start it sends a notification saying 'Failed' but in reality the car starts up properly. That's just one bug. Overall the app is very basic especially compared to others. I was using Hyundai BlueLink before and that app and overall service is leaps and bounds better than Land Rover which is a bit disappointing. There's so many possible options and features that this app could have but does not. Hopefully updates are coming.

App Malfunction! Initially it was working just fine. Suddenly, no matter what I did I couldn't open the app to start my car remotely. Even after restarting my phone the app still wouldn't work. I had to uninstall and install again. Even so it is still not working. The app keeps stopping. Today is Sept 22, 2024 & I'm still not able to access the app. When will this bug be fixed. Am I the only one experiencing this app failure. When it was working it was wonderful. Now, I'd like to give it a zero.
