Amazing App, But... I root my device and used this app just so that i can install Xperia Keyboard in my S7 Edge, but Flashing Zip files doesn't seems to be working. In recovery mode, in Install option its not recognizing any zip file in my sdcard.
Hooray for nandroid backups. TWRP is amazing!!! But this app has bootlooped (stuck on booting to recovery) on both my note 4 and note 12.2. Flashing manually in Odin fixed :) I feel like some things should just be done through the computer and this is one of them.
Check your device forums The devs are working hard to keep this app functional and updated. Don't give them 1 star to demoralize them. Check with your device forum on xda to see if the app works on your device before trying anything. And if something still goes wrong, simply revert to original os and recovery by flashing the stock os via fastboot/odin/mi flash/etc
Doesn't work on galaxy s3. I tried a few thing like backup, install recovery etc.... It just freezes. Didn't have this problem before they changed everything. Just tried to power down device from the app it can't even do that :( it gives me a window asking would I like to continue yes or no, I press yes and the app freezes!
Stuck on Booting Recovery The installation process wasn't simple at all and then after I selected my device/recovery version and restarted, my phone got stuck on the recovery boot. Edit: there should be a primary section under install TWRP that says "Update latest recovery version" that should automatically download and popup install when clicking it and another section for installing older versions. Also, I did read about your app before installing and my bootloader has been unlocked for about 1.5 years.
A few UI glitches since version 9.0 1) Secondary title doesn't change back to "Install Recovery" after leaving the settings (i.e. stays "Settings"); 2) We shouldn't be able to summon the settings screen more than once (e.g. if I press 3 times on the cogwheel, I'll have to press 3 times on the "Back" softkey to return to main screen); 3) On the main screen, clicking on a button for some options (namely, "Device Name" & "Recovery Version to Install") clears the value if the "Back" softkey is pressed without making any change.
