It does what you want from it However this app should improve on the graph grid.. and the graph scale has to be in bigger font.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry you feel that way. The older design was simpler, but at the same time lacked many features users were asking for (esp saving and importing data). You can still use manual entry and have results in two steps. 1.Enter values sep by comma/space, 2.Set x and y columns. It's different but I hope you start to like it! THIS is GREAT!!! EASY TO USE. VERY FRIENDLY!!! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE UPDATE.
Regression graph fail. This calculator fails to give a correct regression line correlating two data sets under any and all circumstances in which the data is not in asending order... the program sorts it when its not supposed to. Other than that it seems to work well. (Hence the second star).
Not bad It provides very basic graphing, and could use some development to use logarithmic scales. It could also use a different input UI, like a table or small spreadsheet.
Needs probability functions Has helped me so much until getting my legit calculator. The linear graph is really easy to read. Could really use the 'nCr' function for binomials, but otherwise great app so far.
Does not do regression! Program does not correctly run regression analysis. Reorganized data sets in ascending order when it shouldn't have. This needs to be fixed ASAP! Other functions work fine
simple and useful The problem with the variance and standard deviation has been fixed. Now it uses the formulas with N1, appropriate when a sample is used to estimate the population variance. It would be nicer if the application indicates whether it uses the N1 or the N formulas, so the users don't get confused. It is actually good to compute them both! It also calculates linear regression for two variables, returns the parameters of the regression line and the correlation coefficient and plots a scatter plot with the regression line. It would be nicer in the 1D case to have more statistics like median and quartiles and a boxplot and barplot showing the data distribution. In the 2D regression case it would be nicer to have a plot of the residuals to check for eventual trends.
there is a problem!!!! The idea of the software is good, but here is a problem with the result of variance and standard deviation. in partitucal I think that the software compute the variance as the sum of the square of the difference between each value of x and the mean divided by the number of values (n) while this sum should be divided by (n1)
I like it It could use a numeric keypad entry system instead of the phone keyboard.
Wrong Wrong! Check the results you get using this and the actual results. Even if it is only some calcs that are wrong then you can't trust it at all.
Awkward calculator Don't really like it because it gives you the wrong answers...
Does the job but... you can't input frequencies, resulting in a very slow/inefficient way of gathering results by having to manually put in every number in the data set.
Regression fail Very simple, very basic fail. I can't believe that someone can create a nice looking app like this and the simple regression calculation is incorrect.
Awesome!!! So happy right now don't have to buy a $100 dollar calculator

Easy Statistics
The Easy Statistics is a simple application, aimed at students of raw Statistics and serves to support the proposed exercises in the classroom.
The application does not aim to do the exercises for you, but give you a result that you can compare their efforts and make corrections in their answers when necessary.

Statistics Easy is free and its maintenance is done through the income generated by advertisements within the application.

This application is a handy tool to calculate sample size for scientific studies as well as doing basic statistics.
Thank you very much all users for all your comments and queries. Thanks to your feedback, the version of the Statistics and Sample Size app is released with a lot of improvement.
 The appearance (or interface): you can now change the app to your favorite color to make it more friendly. In this version, we have Orange, Gold, Green, Blue, Red and Grey.
 Sample size calculator: all errors/problems reported by users were fixed. An email function was also added to the Calculate button. You can now email any calculation to your friends or colleagues by press and hold the Calculate button for a while (long press/click).
 In this version, we included a new section: Random Sampling which may be helpful in randomized control trial. You can set the group name (group A, B, C... or group 1, 2, 3...) in the Preferences.
 In the Statistical Calculator, you can do statistics easier. For example, you can enter a, b, c ,d for a 2 x 2 table, calculate Chisquare statistics and obtain the p value in just a few seconds. There are more things for you to explorer, such as t test or linear regression.
 My favorite section is the Statistical Analysis from Data files. Imagine that one day your friends or colleagues email you a data file and ask you for help. What you do is to download the data file and analyze the data in just a few seconds. However, in this version the app only supports .csv file. In the near future, it will definitely support all other data file type (i.e SPSS, Stata, R, EpiData). The next version may have modeling functions.  The ads in this app is a kind of bonus for my time, but if you don't like it, just press about 20 times on the author's photo to disable ads.

There are a couple of options for the input data. You can make it on screen, restore it from that of the last session, generate a random data set, or read it from a file on SD card.
