It's so easy and simple to send texts from my PC without having to lift up my phone! It also removes the notification from the phone so I don't need to power the device and check it as read. Instead of having to save a link I found on my phone or pc to bit.ly to make it easy to type, I can just shoot the link through the app and you can choose to have the app open it in a tab or copy it to your clipboard. This is a must have app for anyone with a phone and a computer! With these updates bring such great QoL changes that make this app a must have.
This app is pretty awesome. It does what it claims and it continues to improve. It was a little clunky when I first started using it 6 or 12 months ago but almost every "feature" I thought was missing at that time is being added as development appears to continue.
Ok, it has one big issue that bothers me, when I use SMS from my PC or Tablet, it does go out to the person but it never gets recorded on the phone. I never see my messages in the conversations. Fix that and five stars. I'm on a Huweii Mate 9. Android 7.0
Join works well and beyond as advertised ! Started using this primarily as a way to get notified of phone calls when I don't have my phone with me. The options from Join app and Chrome extension opened other use cases ! I do have to mention the awesome response from the developer in case you run into any bugs/issues. The responses are super-fast and clear ! Join deserves a solid five star !
The SMS Sync is a little buggy and has some lag, but the developer seems to actively developing the app with regular updates. All the other features work great.
I don't usually write reviews, however, this one had to be shared. I used to use Pushbullet when it first started and was free...their turn to a subscription model ruined it for me and many others. I've jump to two other apps that provided one or a few similar functions to Pushbullet but there was much left to be desired. Until now, Yappy was my go to app. As of now, Join is my go to app. It is the king in its features and syncing! I've only just installed it 20 minutes ago but that is just how impressed I am to write this review. The app's pricing scheme is so much more reasonable with a 1 time fee/donation...and on top of this it gives you multiple options as to how much you feel it is worth to you. So far I've got it on my Nexus 6P, installed the Chrome extension, and in the process of purchasing the Windows 10 app store version. Just like the app's description, you can send sms/mms, send current site you're viewing directly to your phone, ring your phone, encrypt your messages, and much more...a ton of settings to configure it just the way you want. If Pushbullet let you down, give this a try...if you love it, definitely donate to its dev!
