It's so easy and simple to send texts from my PC without having to lift up my phone! It also removes the notification from the phone so I don't need to power the device and check it as read. Instead of having to save a link I found on my phone or pc to bit.ly to make it easy to type, I can just shoot the link through the app and you can choose to have the app open it in a tab or copy it to your clipboard. This is a must have app for anyone with a phone and a computer! With these updates bring such great QoL changes that make this app a must have.
This app is pretty awesome. It does what it claims and it continues to improve. It was a little clunky when I first started using it 6 or 12 months ago but almost every "feature" I thought was missing at that time is being added as development appears to continue.
The SMS Sync is a little buggy and has some lag, but the developer seems to actively developing the app with regular updates. All the other features work great.
I've tried Push Bullet and a couple of other apps like this and so far this is the only one that I've been willing to pay for. I've deleted all of the other apps that I've tried and plan on using this one from now on.
Brilliant app. A fraction the price of Pushbullet and does everything I need it to do. I can send/receive SMS on my laptop without having to take my phone out of my pocket. That was my main interest in trying the app, but I've also found the ability to share clipboard between phone and laptop also surprisingly handy. Finally, kudos to the developer, for allowing you a full month to evaluate the product, without crippling it in any way —before requiring the [very reasonable] purchase price.
I don't usually write reviews, however, this one had to be shared. I used to use Pushbullet when it first started and was free...their turn to a subscription model ruined it for me and many others. I've jump to two other apps that provided one or a few similar functions to Pushbullet but there was much left to be desired. Until now, Yappy was my go to app. As of now, Join is my go to app. It is the king in its features and syncing! I've only just installed it 20 minutes ago but that is just how impressed I am to write this review. The app's pricing scheme is so much more reasonable with a 1 time fee/donation...and on top of this it gives you multiple options as to how much you feel it is worth to you. So far I've got it on my Nexus 6P, installed the Chrome extension, and in the process of purchasing the Windows 10 app store version. Just like the app's description, you can send sms/mms, send current site you're viewing directly to your phone, ring your phone, encrypt your messages, and much more...a ton of settings to configure it just the way you want. If Pushbullet let you down, give this a try...if you love it, definitely donate to its dev!
