Really powerful app. I'd initially given this app a poor review because I was seeing advertisements in it despite having paid for it, but the developer replied to let me know how to turn them off. With the ads gone, this is an incredibly useful app. Just the ability to synchronise the clipboard with my Mac alone is worth the price of admission, put aside all the other features it has. However, I wish that the desktop component was more refined. I would gladly pay more for a dedicated Mac app that had more features.

It's so easy and simple to send texts from my PC without having to lift up my phone! It also removes the notification from the phone so I don't need to power the device and check it as read. Instead of having to save a link I found on my phone or pc to bit.ly to make it easy to type, I can just shoot the link through the app and you can choose to have the app open it in a tab or copy it to your clipboard. This is a must have app for anyone with a phone and a computer!

Still in development but very well done so far Looking for a more functional alternative to Pushbullet for getting SMS on my computer. So far this app is MUCH better! The only caveats are the lack of MMS support and no-so straightforward steps for getting SMS working in the first place. An improvement could be to walk the user through an initial setup process when the app is first run.

So far so good. I got this as soon as I read that Pushbullet is implementing limitations. Now I have to learn how this app works as its completely new to me. I would love to keep using Textra as my SMS app but be able to sync it with Join. So join knows that I always want to use Textra while still using Join. Would love to set dark background... white is killing my eyes. I wish your app had the same color features as Textra does......... Also, the app settings is not syncing between devices. installing the app on different devices I have to redo the settings exactly as the first device...... When it should notice that I have it installed on another device and should sync the app settings and features..... Anyways, lots of learning to do, thanks. :)

Awesome app. After I purchased the app the developer informed me that I had to turn the ads off manually. I get that you want more money but I just paid $7 for this app. I have also purchased auto remote, auto voice, and auto input. You need to make a living and I get that but don't get greedy. If you continue to make great apps then I will continue to purchase them.

Hmm I really want to use it instead of Pushbullet, but it seems that not everything work. I can't access any files sent to chrome, is showing error page each time. Can't reply to WhatsApp directly, etc :-(. The error message is 403 error, possibly connected to Google drive, but I'm signed in with the same email for everything. Also is there going to be support for sms app- textra? I cannot access sms from PC

Can you please contact me via the email provided in the app store listing? That way it'll be easier to help you. About the files, can you see them on your Google Drive if you go there manually? About SMS, have you enabled it in the android app's settings?

Great app This is a really handy app to have since it ties all my devices together! One thing I have noticed though is that in the SMS window, all my texts are duplicated where it shows the chatroom twice. Any idea how to fix? Other than that, I have no problems with the app

Still a little quirky but very fast and once you figure out how to get the SMS messages to show up on the PC it works very well. Would like to see the SMS popup turned into a tab option but that is no big deal. You guys could use some more intuitive setup as this was trickier to get working. Also some themes would be nice.

Not all messages are always sent instantly, resulting in some people I speak to often being spammed with messages that were never correctly sent. This is despite my phone and laptop being on the same wifi network all day. Unreliable and therefore not useful at all. e: sending SMS messages from my laptop at work and home.

Great concept, don't mind paying to support either...but after I did pay, the app went back to trial mode and I have ads again. Once the dev returns maybe he can help, but for now, it's back to Yappy.

Update The cost to feature ratio is great and my earlier negative review may have been based on me not understanding the workings of the app completely. After bouncing back and forth between Pushbullet and Join, I find join to be the superior app. Keep up the good work and thanks for the great service!

Lots of unhandled java exceptions. Push to shared accounts doesn't work. It has a lot of catching up to do. Was planning to use it for my family but it's still like No man's sky. Pushbullet for now.

I find myself using Join's features much more often than I had with Pushbullet. Very quick and easy to use! Noticed some lag/sync issues with messaging but a quick refresh fixes all. Waiting for Group MMS support.

Amazing program, worth every penny! I'm glad I ditched PushBullet for this app, provides way more functionality and push notifications are ultra fast. Love how it stores all data in *my* google drive and not some probably insecure server who-knows-where run by the app developers. Please keep the good work. Looking forward to see improvements like showing all past push notifications with date and time, and so on...

Simply better Used PushBullet, CopyCopy, and other applications. However, this is simply better. Syncing Clipboard and Sharing Files to other devices is my main usage and it excels in that. While I don't sync notifications I can say it works great! Bye Bye lesser alternatives 😄

Makes Pushbullet look like a joke Join will connect every device you ever use in more ways than you will ever need. I end up using the functionality at least once a day if not multiple times. If you're running Windows 10 you can SMS directly from your computer on the join client which is a huge benefit to me as I hate typing on this little keyboard. There is a one time payment of $2 I believe for the windows client but as much use as I've gotten out of this I'd be willing to pay $30.

SMS works, but app lacks many basic functions. I've never had the app fail to notify me of an incoming text, or to send an outgoing text. However, the app is missing functions like: deleting a conversation or text (even though deleted on phone); expanding a conversation's history (you can only see last 10 or so texts); receiving mms (so no pics or group chat). Another thing of concern that isn't a basic functions is that there is no firefox plugin yet, and the Windows 10 app is an additional purchase. I'm sure this will all be fixed, and once it is, I'll update this review.

It works fairly well most of the time given its limitations. Its UI is pretty rough though, and it doesn't sync some of my contacts' names for some reason. Still, the far larger issue is that it doesn't support MMS - not even text-only group conversations.

Sorry, that happens when you add a new contact. I'll make it automatic in the future but for now you need to disable and re-enable the SMS service on your phone. About MMS, that is coming in the near future. It's the most requested feature: https://joaoapps.helprace.com/ Group conversations are as much MMS as image messages. Hope this clarifies it

Works well This really does work very well. Little bit of a delay, but it's a far cheaper service than its competitors and still accomplishes the same things. It would be nice to see a desktop client for mac instead of having to keep chrome open though.

Very useful app This app is a good price since you only pay one time instead of monthly like Pushbullet. It gives you a month trial with no limitations at all. The app is slightly harder to set up than Pushbullet, but it works great and is very useful. I hope that it adds the ability to see MMS and group messaging in it.

Love the app, donated twice One problem here... I can't send SMS from my phone I get an error message I cannot understand. Error: Error downloading SMS files: Error: File doesn't exist on your google drive: lastsms=:=5b05974587e740f3a17e8a0ffe7f10f1 Make sure the SMS Service is enabled on this device in the Android App -> Settings -> SMS. If it is, go back to the devices tab here in Chrome, click on your device and select 'Send an SMS message' to re-select your device. Help please... Tried both. Still the same message Can you please check your google drive to see you have a folder called "Join Files/From YOUR_DEVICE_NAME/SMS Files" and if the mentioned file is in there? Thanks Not there... What did i do wrong? But still, your app is GOLD

Unfortunately, after fooling around with it for an hour, I was unable to get it to work correctly. It took me a while to finally figure out which program was causing the overlay error, which, in my opinion, Join should have informed me which one. Then, I was faced with the inability to get contacts. Despite all the suggestions I could find in a Google search, my problem was never solved and I could not send SMS messages as a result. This app is young. Hopefully, one day, it will mature, but right now, due to the installation issues, it simply isn't worth $5. [UPDATE] In response to Join's response to my review, I have done as you requested and sent you an email regarding my experience. I expounded upon both issues.

Switched to Join from Push Bullet because Push Bullet was failing to send notifications from my IFTTT recipes. I now use Join with RSS feeds through IFTTT instead.

Great features Love being able to share things between my phone and computers, and texting on the computer is great. However, mass texts (SMS threads with multiple recipients) do not sync. Any help with that? Easy 5 stars otherwise.

Working perfectly for me Chrome on my Chromebook now communicates with my LG G4 phone perfectly. Just as good a service as Pushbullet, if not better, and no subscription needed. Great!

Works just as reliably as Pushbullet for me. I like it because it has just a one-time payment instead of a monthly fee and is much cheaper as well. I would've given it five stars if it had MMS and a nicer looking UI, but I can't really complain at this price. I also wish the price of the Windows app could be included in the price of the app, but the Chrome extension works fine.

Every week this app seems to get better. I just discovered the paypal SMS notification option to "copy number" which is amazingly convenient! On the flip side, it would be nice to have a way so some messages or numbers don't get sent through join for security reasons. Other than that, it's amazingly convenient, thanks!

Stunnig, but there are still limits which IMHO prevent it from becoming a real mainstream alternative: -GUI: Chrome etx. new UI is great i think, but the android and win app is still a joke compared to it. Dev has stated, that he has no "asthetic" talent, which is a great thing to state so honest, But its proven that gui design is often THE deciding factor for success. Most users seek an app that 1. looks good (=material design + dark theme ;)) 2. Is easy + effective to use, IMHO add all features to sidebar, make tab on main "device" page to access all pushes in conversation style, etc. Joins features are on high level compared to usability+GUI. Dev could ask the community to help with android design too! It is crucial for the success and the future of join.. And its high potential to aid millions of users instead of only us power users shouldnt be failed like with many other Apps.. Also make a polished seperate website + social media + blog + youtube postings, much more often to built more community + media echo. 3. party extensions would be great too. Focus on poweruser (=Early adaptors) AND casual user (=Commercial success+future for join+dev) is the key IMHO.

Great app except... I've noticed that over the last week or so I've gotten a few notifications for texts but when I check it on my phone they aren't there. As a result, I have to tell the person to resend there text. Besides that, I do not have any problems!

Great app This is a great app for those people who have to carry two different devices. I get texts and calls to both and it is nice to be able to leave one in my bag and have one on me and to respond to texts from the one in my bag from the one on my person.
