This app is seriously awesome and works much better than Pushbullet or any of the other alternatives I've tried. That being said, the MMS and group message sending from PC doesn't work very well. The message seems to send because people respond to what I said but it disappears from the chrome extension and never appears on my phone. If that worked this app would be perfect.

I really enjoy this and use it every day. The only reason for 4 stars is that sometimes I see texts for a second then when I open them up on my computer they dissappear from both the computer and my phone. Maybe I have some sort of setting wrong. I'll gladly change my review once I get this fixed. If I could get some assistance with this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

This is exactly the app I've been longing for. 10 minutes and it's exactly as it says it does. I will be donating 100% to the contributor once it passes my tests without wifi and with multiple apps running but so far 100% amazing.

I had tried some other apps to sync with my computer and the free ones all fell short. Pushbullet wants a monthly subscription as much as the one time cost of this app. This has more options, like encrypting the communications between the app and your workstation. The interface is really smooth, and you can set up custom things via Tasker. Super versatile. I've had a few issues with answering my phone on my computer, but overall great app at a great price.

Will give 5 stars if I don't have to keep reinstalling due to having multiple accounts on my device, it thinks it's unregistered but I've paid. Many other apps have an option to "Sync Purchases" for in app unlocks. Please add something like this, reinstalling every time it updates is not convenient and many people have multiple accounts on their device. Also re-installing from the web is blocked if you installed it once, so the work around is not possible.

So incredibly useful for getting information to and from your various devices. The developer is super responsive when I had an issue, supplying me with a hotfix while the next update winded its way through Google Play. Highly recommended and paid a small sum to support further development.

This seems Is an app that I have been looking for. It does a good job of bridging that missing gap between my PC and my android. I feel like it would be very helpful for a small company that had teams which are required to work closely together and share files and documents often. The texting feature is amazing hope this app continues to grow and one day gets picked up by Google!

This was a replacement for Pushbullet and I have to admit the developer has went out of their way to create it so efficiently. Most if not all feature are available I do however wish it is possible to purchase multiple devices from one device and sync it through the account... Meaning rather than purchasing the app on different platforms being able to purchase it through one location for any platforms. Like buying it from Android and also being able to buy it from Android for windows and Mac and so on... But honestly that's just convenience feature... Overall, great job keep up the great work...

Why is the windows 10 version paid? Isn't the unlock supposed to be looking linked to our accounts? Update: That's a fair enough reason. The app is brilliant, especially the REST API and tasker integration which make the possibilities endless. The type in app feature seems to not work for me on Nougat (Oxygen OS), but the shared clipboard work quite well so I suppose that compensates in a way. Overall it's a beautiful application! Update: Yes, it was the accessibility setting. it works great now. Thanks

I really enjoy this app, ive been desperately looking for a good app since my alternates have stopped their updates. Right off the bat I had a little bit of trouble with receiving the pushes on my PC. Turns out even though I uninstalled pushbullet, it was still causing issues. Once uninstalled JOIN worked great! Pros: The app allows for texts to come through on your pc, the UI seems fairly intuitive. The features on the app are great! Screen casting, pushing from pc to phone are all great benefits. For the most part, the app works better than most alternatives ive used.. cons: Easily gets stuck when other apps compete for the same data, a way to view conflicts would be great. Screen cast and a lot of the useful features onlywork when the phone is unlocked, which sadly is never for me. So the only feature I end up using is SMS. Which sometimes sends sms in wrong order, or will miss them. I also find if I respond to messages directly, when I go into joins interface to look at sms, all the ones I responded to, show up jumbled. The price, but it is a price I'm ok to pay since the app functions well. Overall Great app, good functionality, supported by the dev. Would recommend to everyone.

Works way better than any of the other options I've tried, particularly with SMS. Also a bargain with no recurring subscription necessary. UI is fast and responsive, both in the app and the Chrome extension.

It's amazing! It definitely makes up for the lack of native messaging between my Macbook laptop and Galaxy phone. The MMS is buggy, but it works good enough for me.

Unfortunately there's one big issue to add Firefox support: it doesn't support push messaging in extensions. I've filed a request about it here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1378096 Hopefully they can add it eventually!

Loving the app since was released. I don't have uses for the themes, but I paid the unlock to support the developer. Join is one of those apps you setup and forget and it's like part of the OS and works perfectly. I rarely open the app. I use it as a shared clipboard and to send things to and from my PCs. Also to send SMSes from the PC. Thanks for this app, Joao!

**must say, those moaning about paying an extra quid to support this dev/app are pretty sad.** Name v. appropriate, as it links your phone, computer & browser in very handy ways. Replying to SMS from the desktop is a real timesaver. Pushing browser tabs from phone to desktop is a killer feature, as is copy & paste between devices. Happy to pay the one off fee to a great dev.

Excellent reaction to feedback about monitization strategies. I came from pushbullet due to their sketchy pricing changes. It's great to see this developer listen to feedback. Supporting via the now optional theme IAP was a no brainer for me.

Great update. Solid app. But the recent update for theme is nice but to pay more for that (just for colours) is not value for money for users who paid for the app earlier. Otherwise a solid app.

This app is good and the one time payment is the biggest selling point I plan buy the app and leave ads on. But I gave it four stars because i think it is missing features like creating a groupchat from the chrome extension and it was quite the pain to set up. REPLY: I just have a lot of trouble setting it up. The other day I added my tablet it broke the whole thing so I had to set up every device again I left an issue on your chrome extension

Seemed like a good idea but very fiddly to set up a join with the pc and required another app purchase on pc device. Also a lot of connections to Google which spooked me. I'm sure those competent enough to will make this work a treat but for me it proves there still isn't a simple way to 'share' and android smartphone with a pc.

There are no auto updates or notifications in the Android app when new messages are received, you have to rely on the native app. And for this I paid 5.00, there is no group messaging from the web and if this is possible it's not obvious, yikes. Also there is no way to send messages directly to a number from the app, they have to be a contacts. Competitors have very slick and functionally advanced app and websites. Has potential but not ready for prime time. Only if there was a native app that would keep the Join database in synch instead of an create/append only xml file along with group messaging, etc. All that for 5.00 would kill off all the competition. Until then MySMS and Airmore do all this and much much more for a annual fee but it's well worth it.

Pushbullet gave me a notification that I was running out of messages and it would be 40$ a year to get more. Switched to Join and wouldn't ever consider going back. The only thing I would want from this app would be a full desktop client instead of a chrome extension, but that doesn't take away from the experience at all. Great tool!

This app works great when sending single-recipient messages that do not involve attachments. However, if I try to send a photo, or if I receive a photo in a message, those messages will not sync until I go into the Join settings and reset SMS syncing - which gets really tedious if I send/receive multiple messages a day that contain photos. Also, whenever I am involved in text conversations that have multiple recipients, syncing goes COMPLETELY out to lunch. Multi-person messages will get split into individual threads (one for each person), in addition to the original group message. Replies then become very convoluted, as they will show in the individual threads, or the group thread, or possibly both...but those messages will often not sync properly with Join, so it simply shows "undefined" where the message should be. Resetting SMS syncing in the app settings does not fix these errors. I continue to use this app because it is still the best alternative I've found for single-recipient messages, but if I ever find an alternative that also works seamlessly for group messaging and image attachments, I'll be switching over very quickly.
