Ratings and reviews

I love all the options you get with this. Much better than the standard Roku app. However the one thing I really can't stand is the ads. Not the fact that it has ads, but rather how they pop up right in the middle of trying to do something and I accidentally tap it because they come out of nowhere. A constant banner ad, or an ad only when you first open the app, or have it idle for a while would be worlds better. Other than that, it's great.

I love this app more than my original remote, it's quick and reliable, very user friendly.

The app is great when it's actually working. 2 things I don't like about it. 1. I have a small 24" personal Roku tv. This remote app can't turn it on from a sleeping state. You have to turn on the tv with the buttons on the tv itself manually, then the app can connect so that's a little disappointing. 2. I understand that adds are how the money is made but when they pop up, they're just stuck there. you can't back out of them unless you close down the app completely and start it again.
