Simple Macro was made for those who want to keep track of the foods they eat and calculate their calorie and macro nutrient targets in their own way. You can set your own macro goals by either percentage of calories or by grams without any opinion from us. So if you want to do a low carb diet like keto, a high carb vegan diet, or just want to track your protein intake, we won't put up a fuss about the foods you eat.
Your macro and calorie goals, the macronutrients and calories you've had for the day, and the foods you've entered with their entry times will all be displayed on the homepage as soon as you open the app. From there you can swipe one page to the right and begin entering food data from a nutrition label or quickly search through your previously saved foods in your favorite list.
You can also add calories without their macros, or allow us to calculate the caloric content based on the fats, carbs, and protein in the meal by leaving the calorie field blank.
Our preview feature allows for real time calculations while entering a new meal so that you can decide how much you'll need to eat while your food is still on the scale.
