WHAT IS HIGHBROW?
It’s a subscription video on demand platform of educational videos for children ages 1-11. On Highbrow we have videos covering everything you can imagine: arts & crafts, science experiments, cooking, phonics, ballet, 23+ foreign languages, and much more beyond.
Highbrow is ad-free and safe, and we have been picked by Apple as ‘App of the Day’ within 5 months of launch in both the US and UK stores.
WHAT MAKES HIGHBROW DIFFERENT?
Highbrow is educational, and Highbrow is personalised.
Our aim is that every child should have their own unique Highbrow experience, because every child is unique – whether they like trains or dragons, football or piano, or perhaps a mix of all four! Highbrow has a library of over 12,000 video titles that are 100% educational. Not marketing ‘educational’ but truly educational. Our internal machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms dive into our deep library of content and serve up the best video recommendation for your child based on their age and interest – the more they use Highbrow, the more personalised it becomes. This way, if Highbrow learns that your child loves dinosaurs, they most likely will learn phonics, letters, numbers with dinosaurs, helping them to understand and retain every minute.
WHAT IS THE EDUCATIONAL MERIT OF HIGHBROW?
We have worked closely with educators and experts to figure out what makes a video educational. We have then codified this in our Healthy Content Framework that we used to analyse every video before it is approved for the platform. Highbrow is now being used in hundreds of schools and learning institutions around the world.
