About this app

I'm Dr. Jônatas Catunda, a head and neck surgeon with a master's and doctorate from the Federal University of Ceará, and I created TireoApp to make life easier for those living with thyroid disease.
After years of treating patients with nodules, thyroid cancer, hypothyroidism, or hyperthyroidism, I realized how difficult it is to gather reliable information, organize exams, and understand each stage of treatment. TireoApp was created to solve this—to bring together, in one place, everything patients need to stay informed, monitor, and better care for themselves.

In the app, you'll find four main areas:

Content: videos and texts created to answer questions and explain, in a simple and secure way, what happens to the thyroid and its treatments.

Health History: a personal space to record symptoms, medications, test results, and track progress over time.

Tools: medical calculators and practical resources that help with dosage control, post-surgery recovery, and clinical follow-up.

Community: A welcoming environment to share experiences, learn from others, and realize you're not alone on this journey.
