Review from savio batista
September 14, 2017Thank you Savio.
It used to be my favorite app for writing and the way it worked was so simple (which was my favorite part about it) but after the update it lost the charm that I had once fallen in love with. Some of the features that were available for non paying users suddenly became only accessible through payment. The layout also went from nice, sweet, and simple to being kind of off putting to the eye (in my opinion) Overall it's a great app but those small changes were enough to make me give it three stars Edit: I'm not at the age where I can pay for my apps (I'm a teen but not 18)
At the end of any document, pressing the right key on external keyboards brings the cursor to the start of the file title. This gets rather annoying. Could you please look into it? Being able to customise lookups & references in the research feature would be great. Make the window movable & collapsible (unobtrusive like the stack feature in Javelin Browser or halo floating window). Is it possible to provide the option to make selected dictionary, thesaurus and rhyme lookups and references available for download and usage offline? Is Google Drive support for documents possible?
JotterPad was made for NaNoWriMo. It gives me more space to work since the taskbar disappears when not in use. I loved this so much, I automatically purchased the full version which allows me to save all versions and the ease which I can store documents on Dropbox or Google Drive is awesome. I don't mind paying for extra features because this is a great app.
Simple and sraight forward; I find it makes a very good Markdown editor for documents you want to maintain in it, and possibly sync elsewhere by other means. Not so much a classic notepad as a document processor that won't confuse you.
This is an extremely well done application. I use it all the time for class notes, personal notes, journal entries, and a lot of other stuff. Very clean interface and perfect MD rendering. What bothers me is how expensive pro is when there's no good reason for it to be. Creative doesn't add much and it's $4. Tons of things that should be standard aren't, and it's very irritating. The help and feedback tabs don't work at all. Overall, amazing application with a lot of issues.
Jotterpad is really great. It gives you unlimited time to write and think on things. It is a shame some of the good stuff is locked behind a door where the only key is in-app purchases. But if you only care about just writing. This is the app for you
