Ratings and reviews

The initial training and the relaxed nature of the videos is great. However the listening feature is poor, often it won't hear the notes at all or will take a generic noise as the requested chord which can affect your learning and is very frustrating. The tuning function is inconsistent and will often say a string is out of tune when it definitely isn't. In hindsight I wish I hadn't paid the subscription.

I guess this may be good for basic understanding and rhythm practice but it provides zero help to playing in tune - I don't mean whether your guitar is in tune or not (the tuner is reasonable in a pinch) but the app doesn't know whether you're playing the right notes\chord or not. I can set my guitar down and just tap my phone to trigger the success of hitting the notes in the practice sessions. So I'll assume it's using the g-sensor to pick up vibrations to say 'yeah you strummed a string'.

it's a nice app with the lessons to guide you through. however I can't stop getting annoyed about the songs you can play. there is no way of slowing it down (and slowly increase the speed) or practicing small portions that are hard. so it gets pretty overwhelming quite quickly. I really like the app for the lessons, but Im still searching for a better way to practice the songs. I hope they will add a practice option to the songs
