I've used this app for well over 4 years. Ads now pop up with almost every aspect of the app. For a free app I can tolerate ads to an extent, but now the player continually says "Permission needed" to show the MP3 collection. It doesn't matter if you grant storage permission to the app in your phone's application settings because it still continues to say "Permission needed." This issue, combined with the ads is infuriating from a user experience perspective.

Just got your most recent update Feb 2023. Restarted phone. My Galaxy S10 STILL crashes on startup. Every time. Takes a time or two to get it to stick. And it keeps rescanning and I have rescan turned OFF. And when I toggle between apps and go back to the player, it often crashes away from the tab I had open, dumping me out. Still needs more work to fix these bugs.

This really bums me out. I have loved this player for years with no issues but a recent update caused music to stop randomly when using the lock screen which makes it nearly unusable. Then I reinstalled the app as suggested trying to fix it and it now freezes and crashes every time I try and use it. Until it's fixed, I can't recommend it. Also, it doesn't help that they've replied (very kindly) to reach out to them. I have already done this. It's in the review.
