This is a build.prop editor for Android root users. With this app you can edit, add and view any prop file.
This app is also available in ROM Toolbox. ROM Toolbox adds a bunch of other features as well. Check it out on the market!
Build properties control how your system runs. You can change your LCD density, decrease your call ring delay, save battery by increasing your wifi scan interval and more.
For common build.prop tweaks slide the screen to the right or click the home icon in the action bar.
To learn more about a build property click on the icon next to the name. If there is no information for the given build property a question mark will be displayed instead of an information symbol.
Remember to keep a backup of your current build.prop. Changing build properties can potentially harm or soft brick your device.

FAKE Only edit but changes nothing. Do this, upload this app first then edit your current undroid phone OS from eg. 4.1 or 4.2 etc. to the latest 4.4 or 4.4.2 (go to ro.build.version.release). Edit using this app will become successful of course, you'll be given a big leap from your current android version to the latest Kitkat version. Amazing right? Now, after your successful edit, try going to "Settings", "About Phone", then tap "Android Version" three times, and you will see what i mean. Uninstalling.
GREAT LOOK AND LOTS OF OPTIONS!!! AUTO-BACKUP!!! I love this app!!! It auto backs-up your build.prop before you even do anything. I can't tell you how many times I ran to change my build.prop and didn't back it up beforehand. Then had to search endless hours to try and find a REAL original one. It works like it says Using Galaxy S III Cricket with custom ROM (CM11) I was unable to download or use Milk Music app (for Samsung users only), but after editing a few prop files I can now download and install no problem. Thanks for the great app.
Power users dream up to 5.0.2! Saves a lot of time that would be spent scouring for lines in build prop file and makes it a lot easier to set values. Been using it since release happily. People who are saying it doesn't work, install busybox and double check for root, don't blame an app that works for thousands of people for your stupidity...

Didn't save my backup Pretty easy to use editor however, I created a backup in the app before editing anything. Made my changes, rebooted, went back to the app and my previous backup was gone! Gonna have to go look up the original values now.

Why does ROM Manager ask for account permissions?
Web Connect only needs to access your Google account to connect it to your google account. It can't access any private data or passwords.
ClockworkMod Touch Recovery:
ClockworkMod Touch recovery (and recovery) is work that needs to put in for every new device that is released by a manufacturer.
If work on ROM Manager ceased completely, all the premium features would continue working without issue. However, new recoveries do not port and build themselves. Without ClockworkMod Touch being a per device purchase, there is no way to recoup recurring server costs and labor. Keeping ROM Manager free and operational costs tens of thousands of dollars a year, and that does not include engineering costs.

Droid users: Stuck at the "M" logo? Flash an alternate recovery and flash back to ClockworkMod.

FAQs:
My fonts won't change.
Font Installer overwrites the font files in the /system/fonts directory. To install a font you must have root access and S-OFF (for HTC devices). Some apps use their own font and cannot be overwritten by Font Installer.
Before attempting to install any fonts please make sure you backup your fonts. You should also have a current nandroid backup.
Font Installer needs to overwrite the correct system files. Please make sure you have the correct fonts selected to be overwritten.
If you’re running Android 4.0 ICS or newer, make sure Roboto-Regular.ttf is selected.
If you’re running Android 3.X or earlier, make sure DroidSans.ttf is selected.
If you’re running MIUI, make sure Arial.ttf is selected.
To change which fonts get overwritten open Font Installer and click Menu >> Preferences >> Select Fonts.
How do I restore the original font?
To restore your font to the default system font press the menu button while inside Font Installer, click “Backup and Restore”, and restore the original fonts you had (assuming you made a font backup before changing fonts).
Alternatively, you can choose the accurate font for your Android OS version according to the list below:
If you’re running Android 4.0 ICS or 4.1 JellyBean, install the “Roboto” font.
If you’re running Android 3.X or earlier, install the “DroidSans” font.
If you’re running MIUI, install the “Arial” font.
If all else fails, a last resort would involve re-flashing your ROM or restoring a nandroid backup of the /system partition (a factory reset would not touch the system partition where fonts are stored).
Special characters aren't supported. What's the deal?
Unfortunately we cannot fix this issue. You can install a custom typeface that supports your language or other special characters. First, find the desired font and download it to your SD card. Then, using Font Installer, navigate to the “Local” tab to select the font file and install.

Disclaimer:
Android has a few places where boot animations can be installed to. It may be that your install location isn’t correct. You can select different install locations by clicking menu >> Install Location inside the app. The app also can help you find your install location by clicking menu >> Preferences >> Find locations.
Please make sure that the boot animation matches the resolution of your device or is smaller. Re-sizing the animation doesn’t always work and sometimes causes a blank screen rather than a boot animation. Some manufactures (e.g. Samsung) don’t use the standard format for boot animations. For devices that do not support the original format you will need to install a custom kernel which supports the standard boot animation. Flashing this ZIP in recovery will fix the issue on most Sumsung devices. Please make a current nandroid backup before flashing. ROM Installer may be used to flash the ZIP file.

SD KitKat Fixer
As of Android 4.4, "KitKat", Google has modified the default permissions for the external SD Card. Now it is accessible for writing only by a special user group of members called media_rw.
