Hello, it's Julie. I am a dietician and nutrition therapist. I practice in Belgium, where I work closely with internationally renowned functional doctors, who have taught me a lot of exciting things about health.
I noticed that some of my patients needed very concrete support regarding the implementation of my dietary advice. So I decided to create a weekly menu over 5 days, covering each of the meals of the day, according to the principles of my method. To make it even easier, I added a shopping list for the week.
This "meal plan" was originally sent by email to each subscriber: the tedious side of managing subscriptions pushed me to find a simpler solution... for you as for me: subscriptions are managed by your app store, which allows this app to be almost 2 times cheaper than the newsletter!
Regarding the content, each recipe has been tested, photographed and includes foods that are easy to find (in Belgium, in supermarkets). The budget and the fact of using all the food purchased were also taken into account (so as not to leave 1/2 pot of hummus lying around in the fridge at the end of the week).
I did not graduate from Hospitality School. My recipes are simple and accessible, while still being delicious. You will not find here the latest food trends from Tiktok, but a realistic implementation of healthy eating in our current lives.
The plan is omnivorous, and I offer vegetarian/vegan alternatives for each recipe containing animal products.
I favor whole, natural, seasonal foods, gluten-free and cow's milk. Although the emphasis is on plants, we are far from the restrictive diet based on boring salads or cabbage soup.
This application is open to everyone, patient or not.
