Need to resolve Lollipop issue regarding silent Since upgrading to Lollipop, in Auto mode, silent defaults to 'with vibration'. Please resolve this issue. I don't want my phone buzzing overnight. I don't want to turn off vibration each night.
this is one of the few apps I've paid for and would have rated it high. Now it's no longer auto switching to the different settings so the rating is low. The reason I paid for the key was so I could set it and forget it. Now my phone rings in the middle of a meeting because it's not on vibrate. Argghh!!!
Used to love it... Now it's basically useless. Silent doesn't work and it doesn't seem to control system sounds which are always loud.
Technical issues and no response from developer I have used Audio Guru with a pro key for a few years and really like the functionality. Recently I discovered an issue where it appears to re-apply the current profile on midnight (despite the profile change over time being mid-evening and early morning). This is a pain when I use "Shush" to silence my phone overnight (intermittent requirement, don;'t want it automated) and Audio Guru re-enables the current profile at midnight. It should not change profiles except at the appointed time. An interim workaround is not to use the auto mode and manually set the profile - then it does not occur. However that's a pain and I bought the pro key for the automation. I've emailed the developer twice but haven't had a response. Disappointing, not to at least get a "Yes, looks like a bug, we'll have a look". I'm sure developers get lots of email, but if you charge for a product some level of response is expected. Hence the 2 stars...
Pro version sucks I paid for the pro version and would like my money back. Does not auto update and never checks on reboot. Just comes up in sleep mode no matter the time.
So much problem with it Dev took $ Paid full and now this fking app has lots issue but the development is long gone, shiet company.
v1.36 Basic support for Android 5 Lollipop - silent mode is replaced with priority mode, which essentially behaves as silent mode with the option to allow some interruptions.
NOTE: Stock Android 4.1+ Jelly bean has linked system, ringer and notification volumes.
NOTE: Stock Android 4+ ICS has linked ringer and notification volumes. As a work around solution on ICS you can enable the adjustment of the ringtones and set your alert ringtone to "silent" for a particular profile e.g. sleep.
