Ratings and reviews

I looked at several countdown apps, and most were very limited... often loaded with ads or limited to a premium purchase for full functionality. While there is a premium version of this app, it is more extras and not limiting the basic fixings of the app. I may consider the premium version if I find interest in it. Until them, I am happy that I can get the basics I am looking for in the base app. It's definitely the best countdown app i have found.

Does exactly what I need it to do: count up, or down, to a specific date. In my case I wanted to keep track of paydays, which it does flawlessly thanks to the ability to set a countdown that automatically resets when the target date is reached. It's a useful, simple app!

I really like this app. I purchased it for life because it has by far the most comprehensive set of features that one could ask from this type of apps. Same applies for the free version, which by itself is sufficient. Very well thought. the few things I would recommend is possibility to 1) capture notes during the countdown, 2) set custom made reminders, e.g. reoccurring or one off milestones

What’s new

This big update adds new languages! For the first time, Countdown to Anything is now available in Spanish and German.

There are some other new features too!
- All Icons now shows your most recent and most used icons
- Dates will now be displayed in the format most common in your country (for example, "March 1, 2025" in the US, and "1 March 2025" in the UK)
- Faster launch times and improved performance for people with lots of countdowns
