Just Run is a simple workout app to help you get running. I made this app to get myself off the couch and start running to get to 5K. Stick to the workout plan, and you'll be able to run 5K in 9 weeks. It really does work!

If you're already able to run 5K, Just Run also has a 6-week plan to help you get up to 10K!

Workout Plans
- Zero to 5K: Gets you from absolute zero running experience to 5K in just 9 weeks, with three 30-minute workouts per week
- 5K to 10K: If you can already run 5K, or have finished Zero to 5K, this plan gets you to 10K in only 6 weeks

I was an athlete before being crippled by long COVID, and when I started to recover I used this app to regain my strength and endurance. But more than that, I think it saved me in a deeper way. I felt so helpless and hopeless having my physical body robbed from me by COVID, and this gave me a way to gently regain confidence in myself. It's totally functional as a free app, and there are no ads, but I paid a little to support the solo developer and feel this app was worth every penny.

This has been a great app to help get me into a routine if running again. I got out of shape pretty bad over the last few years and getting into exercising again had been difficult. The plan to start small and work your way up while having timers and a voice that plays in my earphones for warming up, cooling down ,and early on when there were walking breaks was extremely helpful. Im also glad that the app even includes a change in the settings after you complete the program for 5-10K

This app's simplicity in its design is what made it stick for me as opposed to other beginner's running apps. It doesn't keep pace, track your running, or anything else that might've made me discouraged starting out... Just by telling you when to start running or walking made it SO easy to make running a habit. Give this app a shot if you've been discouraged in the past!
