About this app

Just Run is a simple workout app to help you get running. I made this app to get myself off the couch and start running to get to 5K. Stick to the workout plan, and you'll be able to run 5K in 9 weeks. It really does work!

If you're already able to run 5K, Just Run also has a 6-week plan to help you get up to 10K!

Workout Plans
- Zero to 5K: Gets you from absolute zero running experience to 5K in just 9 weeks, with three 30-minute workouts per week
- 5K to 10K: If you can already run 5K, or have finished Zero to 5K, this plan gets you to 10K in only 6 weeks

📅 Target dates for each workout, calculated based on your progress, and optimal exercise days
📣 Choose from multiple trainer voices, which tell you exactly when to run and walk
📱 Lock screen notification so you don't need to unlock your phone to check your progress
🚫 No ads! Ads are no fun, so Just Run has no ads!
🎵 Works with music, audiobook and podcast apps - Just Run will briefly lower the volume of the other app when prompting you to run and walk, so you'll never miss a prompt
🔽 Tiny download (less than 3MB), so Just Run will take up very little space on your device
➕ Upgrade to Premium to get more trainer voices, multiple theme options, and to support continued development of Just Run

I'd love to hear how you're getting on with Just Run. You can email me at run@jupli.com.

Just Run is the successor to Syncostyle's 5K Trainer and B210K Trainer. If you liked those, Just Run will feel very familiar!

I enjoyed the app, but I feel like it should be called "0 to 30". I tried this out as an intermediate runner, to use as a motivational tool. Without tracking pace, there is no guarantee that 30 minutes equals a 5k. It's a little misleading to beginners. Most of the integers are good, but there's a jump from 8 to 20 minutes in one week, then another from 10 to 22 another week, which again seems unrealistic for a beginner. I do really like the reminder to warm up and cool down, steps I often skip.

I have only one run left before I finish the C25k program but I figured I'd give my rating now. This is one of the best apps I've downloaded! It's made the program so much easier and enjoyable. It's lightweight, yet has the "bells and whistles" that I need like: timer in the notification section and lowering volume of other apps so the "run, walk, halfway" dialogues can be heard. It also doesn't drain my battery or bombard with ads. Thanks!!

Tried doing Zero to 5K (or Couch to 5K) several times over the years. Finally decided I would stick it out this time, and the app is just perfect. Not too many features, just the ones you need. Alerts on time, and the prompts are audible over any music playing. If there was one option I wish existed, it was the ability to set how many times you want to do each week. Defaults at 3, but I would rather do 7 days at each week. Feature request to allow adjustable days at each level would be awesome

What's new

🔊 Two new Premium trainer voices to choose from, 🇦🇺 Charlotte and 🇨🇦 Owen. They replace Sophie and Dan, with higher quality recordings. I've really enjoyed testing these new trainers while going running, I hope you like them too!
