no need to replace zip pass, also the "discounted" fare (that requires me to carry and show ID) costs a dollar more than the standard fair. It's also horrible that you have to load cash into the app instead of buying tickets directly, very predatory practice.

College Student here, I don't know if it is just needlessly complicated or there is genuinely no voucher codes. This makes the College Pass I use and already paid for inaccessible since it only works with Zipass, which will be shut down BEFORE my semester ends.

The apps works well on a personal basis, I certainly have no problems using it, however, the rollout of it *so far* has been less than ideal. Very nearly all the drivers I've interacted with had no idea this was a thing, let alone going to replace Zip Pass... One only found out about it via the brochure stuck in the little holders. I hope SacRT has plans to install QR code readers in the busses, and as of now, the small text describing the passes makes it difficult for drivers to verify.
