JVC Music Play is the app to listen to music from your Android device (Android OS 4.1 to 7.x) with the JVC car-audio receiver connected via USB.

Trying to connect to KW-R920BTS but all it ever says is CANNOT PLAY. I've tried the "troubleshooting" steps as found online of restarting my phone and reconnecting the USB cable, very helpful stuff there guys. I've updated the firmware of the stereo. The only way to play music from my phone is via aux or BT, so I guess I'm lucky I still have options but it's be nice if the USB would work too. At least it charges my phone but as for this app, utterly useless.

Didn't work with my brand-new receiver and my new (one-month-old) MotoG6 running Android 8.0. When connecting vis front USB, it says there's an error. The Bluetooth functions (independent of this app) work fine. I found the product info page for my receiver misleading, I thought more functions (including this app) would work with my device. Luckily, Bluetooth with Spotify should be all I need, but I was hoping for more control of the app through the receiver, including repeat, "like", shuffle or changing playlists. I find that's less distracting than messing with my phone while driving.

App works fine. No bugs. However, for an Android '21 phone, the sound doesn't play from the stereo, but from the phone itself. So instead of sounding like a nuclear BANG, it sounds like an infant cat's meow. I tried using the Bluetooth feature for both stereo and phone, but to no avail. Any ideas on how to solve this issue would be appreciated, thank you.
