I was having connection problems, until I figured out the source which was a bad wire from the radio going to my phone and I downloaded the wrong app. So I uninstall the "mirroring OB for Kenwood" then I installed the "mirroring OA for Kenwood" app, trail and error...Plug my phone up now I am back to watching my movies and music videos on my screen. The app works perfectly fine and no complaints from this guy. I plan to put one in my wife jeep soon. Thanks Kenwood/JVC

I really like this, it's way more useful than Android Auto as you can use any apps, not just compatible ones. It also doesn't change the text size so you can see a good amount of info, unlike Auto which seems to be designed for the driver behind you to read. I've given 5 stars but I hope future improvements are made. The app should force the phone to landscape when it connects, I want to be able to connect the cable and then throw the phone in the glovebox. It would be even better if I didn't have to connect the lead at all but I know that is way to much data traffic for Bluetooth - why don't head units have wifi? ;)
