Description
Bored of putting your phone on silent every time you get into the office? Tired of turning off Bluetooth to conserve battery every time juice gets low?
This app interacts with your surroundings to configure settings on your phone automatically. Combine triggers and actions to create tasks, then activate the tasks that you create with conditions that you set!
Here are examples of what you can do:
In your car: Use Bluetooth as a trigger to open GPS and launch your favorite music app
On your nightstand: Program an NFC tag to set your ringer to vibrate, dim your display and set an alarm
In your home: Configure mobile data to turn off when your phone detects your own Wifi
The current triggers are as follows:
-NFC
-Bluetooth
-Wifi
And as part of our Pro-Upgrade we also have these additional triggers:
-Battery Level
-Location
-Time triggers
And here are a few examples of the actions that you can perform:
- Change WiFi, Bluetooth, mobile hotspot, airplane mode (root users in Jelly Bean and up), auto-sync, GPS (root users), and mobile data settings.
- Change your volumes or notification tones.
- Change your display brightness, timeout, auto-rotation, or notification light settings
- Check in on social media like Foursquare or Google Places
- Send messages using Twitter, SMS, Email, or Glympse
- Start or stop Applications (root required for stopping applications), dock modes, open URLs, speak text, or navigate to an address
- Set Alarms or create calendar events
- MORE!
This app allows you to easily program your device to do the actions you do regularly.
So go ahead and create your own combinations to automate your life. The only limit is what you can come up with!
The Wall Street Journal calls it "living in the future."
Additional actions can be found when experimental features are enabled in advanced settings. Auto lock screen and airplane mode are restricted by Android but we've created some work around solutions for these actions. (Note: They aren't 100% reliable which is why they're classed as "experimental features").
Some demos can be viewed on the application website
Note: When using NFC Tags you can create a Switch task that will toggle between two tasks with each tap.
We're always working on adding new actions to Tasks. Please get in touch if there's something you'd like to do that's not currently offered.
This application supports NFC Forum Type 1, Type 2, Type 3 and Type 4 Tags as well as third party NFC Enabled tags like the MIFARE Classic, DESFire, Ultralight and Ultralight C. Now supporting read-only tags & allowing you to write any amount of data to any tag using Tagstand's cloud service. This allows you to use your tags just as you would any writable tag without worrying about size.

Start media playback action not working now Tested using a bunch of different music players. I changed the preferred music player and everything.

awesome app This is one of the most useful and usable apps I have. I recommend that everyone use it (the pro version). It automates so many different thing that I was doing manually on a day to day basis that I don't need to remember to do now. Great product from Egomotion Corp. I also like their other product Agent (alot like Trigger but already set up for several actions). The only issue I have is that I cannot seem to find any forums to ask questions about the app or forums to share Trigger ideas. It would be nice if there was a Trigger community that shared thing like IFTT has. Otherwise, great product!

Kinda works Combination wifi and time trigger ignored the time. Sound changes don't revert so had phone on silent without raising for half a day. The more useful triggers aren't free (e.g. time). I'll be looking for a solution which works more reliably. If only I could install Motorola smart actions app.!

Pretty Darn Good Works perfectly with NFC tags, time, and WiFi, and pretty well with geofencing, but I can't get it to check me in anywhere on Facebook? It never popped up asking to connect to my Facebook account, and does nothing when that task is triggered.

Say what? App worked great for programming my nfc tags, like turning off Bluetooth and turning down sounds. But when I uninstalled the app, and then tried to use a tag, I was prompted to reinstall the app. Really? I need the app to run the tags?

Changes the way one uses a phone. The Geofence feature just rocks.......what can be better than seeing tasks being done by the phone itself.....

Changing the order in a task (and saving it) will change the order in which the actions are executed. If it's an NFC tag you'll need to re-write the tag with the new task set. You can add a pause between actions as well, this is found under Applications and Shortcuts. awesome app This is one of the most useful and usable apps I have. Very handy app I use it to turn off ringers and sound when in meetings and then turn them back on whenever I'm home. I have one small feature request, though. It would be nice if the calendar event trigger could have an offset. I would like my ringer to turn off 5 minutes before every meeting starts and back on 5 minutes after it ends. But as is, I can only have things happen right at the beginning and end of the calendar event.
"Free" is false advertising unless you only want wifi, bluetooth, nfc triggers In order to use triggers other than wifi, Bluetooth, and near-field communication, you have to pay $8 for a Pro Upgrade, which costs over twice as much as Tasker, the more powerful app. If you only want to use the three triggers, it's great for that, and the UI is nice, but it is not anywhere near to a free alternative to Tasker, which is what it seems to be trying to advertise itself as.
Just needs a GPS toggle I love the idea, and use it primarily to turn my data on and off when. I'm in WiFi range. However, I have two big problems with the app: 1. Notifications after reading a tag won't go away until I clear them (SO ANNOYING), and 2. No option to toggle GPS as an action. Fix those two things and you get 5 stars. Running 4.4.4 on Nexus 4. UPDATE: you fixed the notifications! Thanks! Now, let me toggle the gps for free and you get 5 stars.
Great trigger app! I've been using this app the part few weeks and it's been working great. I use it to automatically put the phone on vibrate when I hit my work Wi-Fi then another trigger to turn it back up on my home Wi-Fi. The app trigger also works well for activating gps on Bluetooth in the car. Great work!
Good app, except... I understand geofencing is still in beta, but that should mean dealing with a few bugs, maybe some quirkiness; instead, the geofencing just flat out doesn't work. It never even polls for location, so it never triggers actions.

You can turn off the task descriptions in the app settings to get the old look back. Sorry to hear you don't like the update. What do you mean by copying actions? Feel free to send us an email - it's much easier than communicating via the comments system. Egomotion Corp June 24, 2014

NFC Easy Connect
The NFC Easy Connect app allows your smartphone to connect easily with NFC-compatible Sony devices (speakers, headphones, etc.).
Just touch your smartphone to the N mark on an NFC-compatible Sony device to register (pair) the devices and connect them through Bluetooth (one-touch connection).
For details on smartphones on which the NFC Easy Connect app needs to be installed, check “Compatible smartphones” below.
You do not need to install the NFC Easy Connect app if you are using an NFC-compatible smartphone with Android OS 4.1 or later installed.

You do not need to install the NFC Easy Connect app if you are using an NFC-compatible smartphone with Android OS 4.1 or later installed.
- Compatible smartphones
NFC-compatible smartphones with Android 2.3.3 or later (prior to Android 4.1) installed
Some smartphones may already have an app installed with similar functions. In this case, the NFC Easy Connect app is not needed.
See the manual of your smartphone for details.
See the following website for details on NFC-compatible Sony devices.
http://rd1.sony.net/lifestyle/
- Making a one-touch connection with your smartphone
1. Unlock the screen.
2. Touch the NFC detection area of your smartphone that has this app installed to the N mark on an NFC-compatible Sony device.
3. The smartphone vibrates when a connection to the NFC-compatible Sony device is established.
(You do not need to activate the NFC Easy Connect app.)
- Main functions
1. Simple device registration (pairing) and connection by one touch. (NFC Bluetooth Handover)
Touching your smartphone to an NFC-compatible Sony device turns the power of the device on and establishes a Bluetooth connection at the same time.
Even when connecting to an NFC-compatible Sony device for the first time, both device registration and Bluetooth connection can be completed with this one-touch operation.
2. Simple disconnection by one touch.
To disconnect the connection, simply touch the smartphone to the NFC-compatible Sony device.
3. Simple switching of connected devices by one touch.
If you have multiple NFC-compatible Sony devices, just touch the smartphone to a different device to disconnect from the current device and connect to the new one.
For example, if your smartphone is connected with NFC-compatible headphones through a Bluetooth connection and you want to connect to an NFC-compatible speaker instead, just touch the smartphone to the speaker to establish a Bluetooth connection to the speaker.
4. Operation at your fingertips
You can turn the Bluetooth function on and off, and connect or disconnect easily using the app screen.
- Check the following if a connection cannot be established.
1.Make sure the NFC Easy Connect app is activated or the NFC function of your smartphone is turned on.
2.Make sure the screen of your smartphone is unlocked.
3.Depending on the smartphone you are using, it may not be possible to make a one-touch connection while the smartphone is being charged. Finish charging first, then perform the one-touch operation.
4.If the smartphone is in a case, the listening device may not react to one-touch; remove the smartphone from the case first.

SAO Launcher
Xlythe
1
The Sword Art Online system menu, for smartphones and tablets. Pay $5 inside Options to turn off ads and unlock additional features. The total cost of Pro and all extensions is around $8.
Drag down from the top left corner of your screen and orbs will fall into place, giving you quick access to various features of your phone. Call and text friends, launch your favorite apps via shortcuts, control music, and more using the various orbs.
SAO is built to be extendable. There are many free and paid themes and extensions available in the Store. Themes update the images, sounds, and fonts used in the app creating a completely different experience. Extensions, on the other hand, are additional orbs that appear when downloading other apps. SMS, for example, is a free extension for phones.
Both themes and extensions have an API for those who want to truly customize the experience. The documentation is still in it's infancy, so don't feel afraid to email us at xlythe@gmail.com for additional help or to submit an app to the Store.

FAQ:
Q: Can I help translate the app to my language?
A: Sure! We'll give you (and any friends) Pro if you help keep our translations up-to-date. You can now help out with translating using Localize (https://www.localize.im/v/dq). Email us afterwards (support@xlythe.com) to work out who to give Pro access to.
Q: Can I help test new features or recommend ideas?
A: Of course! Join our community (https://plus.google.com/communities/106623201559847991380) and, if you're interested in being on the cutting edge, sign up for Testing. We'll do our best to address bugs promptly.
Q: How do I use themes?
A: Install the theme, then go into Options, Themes. You should see it as a choice aside Default.
Q: My extensions aren't working (or... anything isn't working).
A: Try rebooting. If it still doesn't work, feel free to send us an email (xlythe@gmail.com) or report it in the community.
Q: Why can't I uninstall the app?
A: It's probably set as a Device Administrator (a legacy feature from Log Out). Go into Settings, Security, Device Administrators, and uncheck SAO Launcher.
Q: Why is log out missing?
A: Log out required Device Administrator, which made it difficult to uninstall the app.
Q: How do I get sms to pop up?
A: Install the SMS extension - it's another app, you can find it in the Store.
Q: Why is there a delay launching the app after pressing the Home button?
A: Android introduces a 5sec delay for all services after the Home button is pressed. There is no way to get around this.
Q: Why can't I click under the swipe area?
A: It's an anti-keylogging feature of Android's. There is no way to get around this.
Q: Why do I still see my old SMS notifications after installing the extension?
A: I can't touch another app's notifications. Luckily, the default SMS app lets you disable notifications in settings.
Q: Why can't I hear any sound?
A: There are different streams (System, Notification, Media). Some phones disable System, the stream usually reserved for button clicks. If you have one of those phones, you'll have to change the stream in Options.
Q: This isn't a launcher! Why claim it is?
A: It is... Sort of. It launches apps. It is not meant to replace your default launcher, though.

NFC ReTag FREE
Re-use/recycle write protected NFC Tags such as hotel key-cards, access badges, price tags, lift cards, key fobs etc...
You can use this app to associate multiple functions (e.g. Wlan OFF, Bluetooth ON, Mobile Data TOGGLE, start navigation, run Tasker task, start any installed app, use media buttons, call a phone number, add a timestamp, calendar entry, add Text-to-Speech and much more!) to a NFC (near field communication) tag via an app internal database. You can even add tag cycles and let your tag run different activities per scan. So ReTag is the perfect NFC automation tool for you ;-).

(Works with ANY android supported tag = re-writable AND write protected!)
With NFC ReTag you don´t have to write anything on the tag (-> uses the tag ID, great for small tagsizes and write-protected tags!) and NO data is send to the internet. Additional write options (for better dispatching, device independent tags etc.) are also available. Import of activity tags and beaming is also supportet.
*!* NFC enabled device required / NO root required *!*

If you have any issues, please do not hesitate to write us an e-mail.
You could combine any activities/ actions and add as many activities and cycles as you want per tag. (obviously except for writing activity tags -> depends on tagsize). For best performance and dispatching, write a special NFC ReTag tag (this is NOT an activity tag!).

An ad supported free version (with limited number of tags) and an unlimited ad-free (PRO) version is available. Please check if this app works on your phone via the FREE version before downloading the PRO version.
Supports any standard android NFC tags (NFC Forum Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, Type 4, MIFARE Classic, Ultralight(C), DESFire etc.).
Hints:
Issues with TASKER: Install Tasker BEFORE NFC ReTAG, enable Misc / Allow External Access in Tasker UI, enable Tasker (on/off button), try the Tasker fallback option within NFC ReTag settings!
Some security related NFC Tags (e.g. in passports) change their ID on every read attempt. This app will not work with such tags.
NFC Sniffer
Reads NFC tags and smart-cards and displays information on the screen.
This app allows you to explore the contents of the RFID/NFC enabled smart card transponders. This is very useful for anyone programming NFC applications, or for anyone who wants to see what transponders they are carrying around in their purse or wallet.
To scan a smart-card or NFC tag, start the app, then hold the card/tag within a few millimeters of the back of your device (you may have to swipe around a bit to find where the NCF reader is in your device).
The app displays:
* The transponder ID
* RF technologies used
* Type of transponder
* ATQA code
* SAK
* Target tech classes
* Number of times this transponder has been scanned
Not all android devices support NFC. If your phone or tablet does not support NFC, a message appears on the screen to notify you, and the app closes.
By default, NFC is disabled in most handsets. To use this app, and to use NFC on your device, you must enable NFC in your device settings. If NFC is not enabled on your device, this app displays a message and exits.
Chromecast
Chromecast is a thumb-sized media streaming device that plugs into the HDMI port on your TV. Simply use a smartphone, tablet, or laptop to cast your favorite entertainment and apps right to the big screen.
Use the Chromecast app to:
• Set up your Chromecast and connect it to your Wi-Fi network
• Set up backdrop and personalize your TV screen with art, personal photos, news and more.
• Manage your Chromecast settings (such as changing your device name, Wi-Fi password, etc.)
Stock Launcher - Android 4.1
Tim Hutt
1
UPDATES: You may have noticed I haven't updated this for ages. Sorry. I bought a Nexus 4 and so I don't need this any more and don't have motivation to update it.
ALTERNATIVES:
1. Another developer has compiled the latest launchers from Google - search for "Digital Cookies" in the play store.
2. Apex Launcher
----------------------
Google's launcher from Android 4.1 Jellybean, available for you, good gentleperson, right here, right now. No ads. No catches.
WHY DO I HAVE TO CHOOSE THE WIDGETS TWICE?!
Unfortunately it has to be this way. Sorry. It is due to Google cheating slightly with widget security.
I previously said that it "will likely never be fixed by Google, 'cause it doesn't affect them". Well I guess I have to eat my words because in Android 4.1 they fixed it! If you run this app on Android 4.1 it won't ask you to pick your widgets twice. Whether you'll actually ever get Android 4.1 is a-whole-nother story.
Oh yeah, also please don't rate it low because it doesn't have many features. That is kind of the point - it has exactly the same features as in the stock app. If you want more, check out Apex Launcher. :-)
If you want ICS icons, install ICS apps! The launcher does not decide the icons.

Agent - do not disturb & more
Agent is a must have app for any Android user and gives you these essential missing features for your smartphone: AUTOMATIC battery saving, drive, meeting, and sleep modes!

★Watch us on CBS' Good Day Show as App of the Week! http://gooddaysacramento.cbslocal.com/video/9727659-app-of-the-week/★
Agent automatically saves your battery, silences your phone during meetings, remembers where you’ve parked, auto-responds when you’re driving and allows only urgent calls and messages through when you’re sleeping.
What users are saying:
"Before finding this app, I had 3 other apps that each did only part of what this app does altogether!"
"This is perfect. It's simple, elegant and works perfectly without fail. Great job."

"When I get in the car, it handles my texts and reads incoming ones aloud. When I'm in bed asleep, it knows to screen my calls. I love this app!"

★ Drive Agent is triggered by bluetooth and motion sensing (activity detection). It can be configured to read SMS messages aloud, respond with voice, auto respond to texters and callers to let them know you’re driving (editable message) & only respond to your own hand-picked list
★ Battery Agent triggers at a percentage you choose. It helps conserve battery by giving you the option to turn off bluetooth, dim your screen and reverts back to normal settings automatically when you charge your phone. Will also let you know how much battery it saved you.
★ Parking Agent remembers where you parked, based off your speed or bluetooth connection. Will remember your last five parking spots
★Meeting Agent syncs with your calendar to silence/ put your phone on vibrate when you don’t want to be disturbed. It can be configured to activate for busy events only, gives you the ability to specify your working week so that it only syncs with your calendar on days and times you prefer, works with shared calendars and auto responds to selected contacts during these "busy" events.
★ Sleep Agent will silence your phone automatically when you go to sleep. You can configure sleep times for different days of the week, minutes of inactivity before activating, auto response to selected callers and texters during your sleeping hours, list of contacts that can wake you & Bluetooth, autosync, wifi and mobile data deactivation.
App Permissions Explanation:
-NEW Reroute outgoing calls: For our new status sharing feature which will be released in the next few weeks. we won't actually re-route calls but users have the option to have a notification pop up if you call another agent user and they are in a meeting or sleeping (ie one of the agent states are active). You will both have the option to opt into this status sharing feature.
- Send SMS: We use this when auto-responding to texts whilst you are driving (if selected), or when you are sleeping for emergencies.
- Read SMS: When driving Agent will read out your text messages to you to prevent distraction. We don't know the contents of any messages.
- Read Contacts: This is so that the app can determine whether a contact is in your address book or not (an option for who is allowed to contact you when busy)
- Precise Location: Parking Agent requires this to store your parking location.
Finally, build customized Agents with our free Trigger app! Available for download on Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jwsoft.nfcactionlauncher&hl=en
NFC Writer by Tagstand
Tagstand Writer allows you to simply and quickly program multiple NFC tags.
You can program:
- web addresses
- foursquare venues
- address book contacts
- phone numbers
- emails
- text
We will add different data types based on feedback.
This application supports NFC Forum Type 1, Type 2, Type 3 and Type 4 Tags as well as third party NFC Enabled tags like the MIFARE Classic, DESFire, Ultralight and Ultralight C.
The app is configured to allow you to write multiple tags without leaving the write screen.
Programmed tags will work with *any* device that has NFC. Everyone who scans the tag will see the same content.
You can buy tags from within the app.
The last 25 recently written tags are displayed on the homepage for easy access.
Trigger: Tag Reuse Plugin
This plugin will allow you to re-use unsupported or read-only tags with Trigger. This is necessary for devices like the Nexus 4 or Samsung S4 using Mifare Classic 1k tags.
Known issues: This may break S-Beam on some Samsung devices. This is a known issue and the reason this now functions as a plugin instead of being part of the main app.
Trigger: SMS Plugin
This is a plugin for Trigger that will allow the "Text Message" functionality to automatically send a text message rather than pre-populate the SMS data in a text message application.
Note: This does not insert a message into your message history. The SMS is sent directly from the app with no user interaction required.
You must have Trigger installed for this to work. These plugins are supported as of 3.7.3
Connect
Connect lets you run Trigger Tasks remotely from the web. Build tasks to do anything on your phone using Trigger, then with Connect you can automatically view and execute them in your browser, chrome plugin, or from a simple [secret] link.
Since it is a service that must be kept up at all times, Connect requires a one time $4.99 fee to be used.
The corresponding chrome extension can be found here: http://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/connect/dopcblnakobeneefloniajcdfommmmen?hl=en-US
