I feel really bad about rating this so low, when the device is vastly superior to its competitor in terms of setup and connectivity. I'm even adding a star for how great the UI looks. But the sound the device makes! Two high pitch tones right at the limit of hearing! I can't have this device plugged in anywhere in the room, I gotta have my sleep. It just isn't worth enduring the nightmares and the general feeling of unease.

Terrible app. The setup process requires connecting the phone to the outlet via WiFi and then going into the app and clicking a button to enter the router information. But the button is a dead link so the app is unable to get the outlet connected to the router. I've had issues with these devices before and any trouble shooting forums I've found say the same thing: they can't seem to hire programmers that know how to program apps that work the way they are supposed to. The devices are great, but software is awful.

It works and it's stable and reliable. But it's one of the ugliest and clunky user interfaces I've ever seen. It would be awesome if the timing could be written off-line in a text file and then imported or cut/pasted into the program. As it is - meh. Oh, and BTW, if you have trouble connecting, put the switch RIGHT NEXT TO your wifi router.
