About this game

A free-to-play spin-off of the critically acclaimed SIMULACRA, Pipe Dreams tells a brand new story, with a new interface, live-action cast and horrors to unravel. Follow the story of Teddy as he tries desperately to break free from the hold of a cursed video game.

Teddy’s life further falls apart as he starts to forget some pretty important things... He finds messages that he has no recollection of sending and often finds himself blacking out with huge gaps of time missing. And it all started after he downloaded this mysterious free game called "FlapeeBird".

You don’t have to play SIMULACRA to enjoy this one, but it helps.

Amazing concept. A lot went into this game and it was well worth the time. Only criticism is some continuity errors: time stamps on some of the videos and whatnot. But overall, wow. Compelling and well made. Good voice acting, good writing, graphic effects were creepy. I'm very impressed that this was done on a mobile platform. And ironically... Or not... I'm anxious to go back in and try for another ending...

As usual. Kaigan delivers with a nice little horror story that pulls you in and makes you question just how much of the experience is fiction. My only issue (though, considering the themes, it may have been intentional) was that the controls during the game segments were sometimes unresponsive. Just got my first (of 4) endings, and about to go back for a second.

I loved the basic concept of this game! Intriguing and different it was fun with a message. However, I HATED to play the in game game. It was terrible but you had to play in order to progress the story. No way to skip, just playing over and over until you win enough. It isn't hard because the point is to spend your eggs and win without effort, but it certainly does waste time.
