About this game

SIMULACRA 3 continues the narrative-driven found-phone horror game series. The once charming town of Stonecreek has seen better days. People are vanishing into thin air, leaving nothing behind but strange symbols where they were last seen. Your only lead is the phone of a missing investigator. Armed with a map app and a trail of creepy videos, delve into the darkest corners of the digital realms as you investigate the horrors seen on his phone and in Stonecreek.

I had very mixed feelings, and this is a very weird gripe- but where's the intro music? The menu? It's so static so empty to me! I love the menu music heck sometimes I open up simulacra one because of the menu music it's great! But now... there's nothing and now I'm just left confused and less interested then I usually am! The starting music was always a bug hook for me! I loved every time I opened the 1st one and the menu would spark to life or starting a new game in the 2nd! Plus the visuals!

Been waiting for this game for months. I am truely impressed at all of the effort that was put into this. The game mechanics were quite unique and I am glad that the atlas app was not just a clone of the WARDEN app from the second game. To be honest, I am kind of disappointed at how the simulacrum was portrayed though. I mean, it was impressive but unless you saw a specific hidden document in Pipe Dreams none of this would have made sense. I mean, the tapes sort of explained it but not all of it

I've played all simulacra games and this one unfortunately disappointed me so much. I flew through the game in one night.. puzzles were really easy, story lacked originality and intrigue. The videos are also terribly edited and the audio is completely different every scene making it so easy to tell it's pieced together. Just ruins a big part of the "real" experience or any scary part, hopefully they fix this in an update at some point for future players.. it has potential, it just feels lazy..
