[Foreground Service Permission Notice]
Kakao Work uses the following foreground services to provide seamless video conferencing and screen-sharing experiences, even when the app is in the background.

- FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE: Guarantees uninterrupted voice calls by maintaining microphone input during a video conference or voice chat, even when using other apps or when the screen is turned off (multitasking).
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CAMERA: Used to keep streaming your camera feed during a video conference without interruption, even when the app is minimized or during multitasking.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION: Used to support the screen-sharing feature, allowing you to share and broadcast your mobile screen to other participants in real-time during a video conference.

※ While the foreground service is active, a persistent notification is displayed in the status bar, allowing users to check the meeting status and immediately control or exit the meeting at any time.

Ratings and reviews

DO NOT USE THIS FOR WORK!!! It drops messages without any notification. You will receive a call from your angry supervisor saying you didn't reply to his/her orders. And you'll find the messages you sent yesterday showing it was failed to be sent. The worst of worst messenger program. Not reliable. I never imagined this quality of program could be released. I emphasize that DO NOT USE THIS FOR WORK!

unable to send big file photos

I love kakaotalk and tried to switch to kakaowork for work but could not since it has too many bugs. Messages do not go through most of time...even cannot make a invite link....I want to love kakaowork but it is not there yet.

- Fixed an issue where some chatroom emoticons and message bubbles were displayed incorrectly.
- Improved the display behavior for notices and reply messages whose retention period has expired.
