I bought the smart plugs as part of a startup campaign so I didn't pay much for them.(That's the good news.) I have had these things for about two years and they worked fine until now(Dec 2019). I had to reset some of them because of a power outage. I have yet to be able to reconfigure these with this app. I have tried on 3 different phones and this app is garbage. This essentially make the ones I reset paper weights.

STAY AWAY. I bought 4 when this company was running an Indiegogo campaign. The app is garbage and doesn't work at all. I've read all of the support documentation, and can't connect to the switches via regular or AP setup. I also disabled the 5g band of my wifi before running the setup. Nothing seems to do it. I can't even use these things as door stops because they're so small and lightweight. The hardware could be great for all I know, but the software is absolute garbage. And they dropped IFTTT support...why!?

Did not know they stopped working. Apparently that happened after I was presented with an update that required an absurd amount of permissions. I tossed the six I own in a box for later sale on Ebay when I couldn't get a straight answer as to why the app needed access to my phones photos & videos just to name a few. I am not hypersensitive about security, but the permissions required to use the app are ridiculous. I guess selling them on Ebay is not even an option now. Junk!
