As a techie dad and having grown up without internet and such high tech gadgets I was nervous about my kids getting tablets from their grandparents. Had some success with other software which is no longer available and not compatible with phones so discovering this app has made me a whole lot happier knowing I can turn the tap for websites apps, GPS tracking usage hours and more.
I've used the app for a short time and found it the best. Then, my son's device bugged out and I made a factory reset. The problems, then, begins... Every time I try to access the app to configure it, it says I haven't internet connection. I even try to uninstall the app, but I've stuck in the login screen every time. Could you guys help me?
i installed this app on my oppo f1 plus (ColorOs 3.0), and i blocked some categories of websites on the settings, but i still can access them freely, all that the app does is send a notification to my kaspersky account, but surprisingly the app blocked facebook app, and i needed to grant a permission for it to start. i don't know what is the problem. why the forbidden websites are not being blocked but just reported. also the reports say ( i attempted to visit a website ) where actually i was able to visit it when it supposed to be blocked? any help?
I use Safe Kids on a variety of platforms. On my son's Android phone (Huawei LYO-L01) despite enabling the app it seems to get disabled in minutes. This is not the case on my daughter's tablet... #Frustrated.
I have had two support requests open for a long time with no solutions offered. Safe Kids does not do what is says it does, because: (1) Games can still be played with Safe Kids supposedly protecting the phone; (2) After a restart Safe Kids loses its grip and the child has to manually give it accessibility privileges for Safe Kids to then control the phone, which makes no sense. A simple restart renders Safe Kids useless; (3) Safe Kids clocks time and blocks the phone when no one is using it. This makes Safe Kids useless for the purpose it is being sold for. And Kaspersky support has been clueless, as no solutions have been offered over a long period of time. New support technicians are assigned to the same case and they keep asking for the same things, not even reading the thread below. It is beyond stupid and clueless. UPDATE: To Kaspersky - here are my ticket No's: INC000007350687, INC000007335478. Waiting for a resolution since Jan 31, 2017. My tickets keep bouncing up and down the support chain.
Good app but the location is lack.. based in GPS only and i assume a cellular network location can add in a case the child closed the GPS etc.
