ELD COMPLIANCE
The Motive Driver App makes recording Hours of Service (HOS) on your Android phone or tablet fast and easy.
It complies with the FMCSA regulations, including Part 395. When used with the Motive Vehicle Gateway device, the app helps fleets and individual commercial drivers meet their obligations outlined under the ELD mandate.
Supports current Canadian Federal Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
Connect the Motive Driver App to the Motive Vehicle Gateway via Bluetooth to stay compliant through an electronic logging device (ELD).
Proactively alerts you when you’re running out of driving time to avoid Hours of Service (HOS) violations.
Displays total hours worked for the week and your available Hours of Service for any given day and the following day.
Can be switched to Inspection Mode to show ELD logs to an officer during a roadside inspection without compromising the driver’s privacy.

TRACKING & TELEMATICS
When dispatched, GPS location data is shared to the Motive Fleet Dashboard to update dispatchers and fleet managers on stops and arrivals.

DRIVER SAFETY
Review Motive Dashcam videos and safety events to understand driving performance.

Ratings and reviews

This has been and is one of the best, if not the best electronic logging systems I've ever used! Customer/technical support is great! They're always patient, understanding, and have the answers to every problem/question I've had, 24/7!!!! The biggest thing I've learned is the need to check for upgrades on playstore every couple of months (whether on my phone or tablet) to insure I have the most current edition for the smoothest operation! Certainly not a big deal....

Keep getting flagged for violations I'm not committing. Don't really see a point in following the speed limits when the app dings you for speeding in areas you're going the speed limit in. There is no way to refute the violation. Honestly, I feel like I'm more distracted than ever, trying to satisfy the requirements of driving safely rather than actually driving safely. App itself works well, but it feels like the system is geared more for dot drivers than those of us in pickups.

Very messed up. Keep Trucking was a lot better. You can be driving, and it just disconnects. And here lately, it's keeping me in the sleeper and shows no driving time,all of my driving time shows off duty. Even after the update, it's still trash. I'm very disappointed in this Motive version.
