You can do 0-click batch & scheduled backups. Backups will operate without closing any apps (with Pro). You can move any app (or app data) to/from the SD card. You can browse any app's data and even query the Market to see detailed information about the app.

I downloaded this app after having read years worth of reviews attesting to how handy it is. Apparently the app is not very compatible with modern versions of Android, because it gets stuck when trying to restore the majority of apps I backed up and whose recovery files I verified within TB. The interface is super antiquated and convoluted. Finally, the update.zip file produced by the app failed to work, and could not even be saved to an external SD Card with more than enough space to store it.

I've been reading a lot of people complaining about this app not working after Oreo. I can confirm I've used it recently to back a OnePlus 3T running Nougat, restore everything on a Pixel 2 XL running Pie, backing it up before returning it to the owner who had lent me the device and then restoring the backup to an LG V30 running Oreo. Some apps are poorly written and don't fully allow for this to work (one of my banking apps) or have enhanced security measures that don't allow for a full backup (Google Pay), but I have some 200+ apps on my phone and most of them were restored using Titanium Backup, and also call logs, SMS and even WiFi connections. Been a very happy Pro user since 2010/2011 and I can't praise enough how well this app works for people who can actually dig into the system - but I'll concede that this isn't one of those plug'n'play backups apps for every single use case.

Unfortunately the current top review is correct: Titanium Backup no longer can restore backups. I believe the issue is one of permissions (each app has its own writable path and a separate user/group generated "randomly." The backup restore process likely does not compensate for this.) On current Android versions, restoring a backup causes the app to crash continuously until you clear its data. Titanium Backup was one of my most important essentials, so this is a terrible loss.
