It used to work great. Was everything I could need to search out rogue access points, but recently it just stopped working. Perhaps an update (by Android or the app) broke something. Was a solid five star when it was working. Not sure why it needs location permissions...
Exactly what I was looking for that shows dbm signal levels. This can list all available wifi devices with dbm and individual device with dbm. Ad does not apear taking up display space. Ad only show up after exiting.
Does everything it promises except display ads -- and I have no complaint about that. Very useful for finding the weak spots in your wifi network, and conflicts with neighboring networks using same channel.
It's perfect. It can do 5G almost as perfectly as 2.4, but it still needs a couple of tweaks and some more details added so it can properly show and label the 5G wifi information in some places.
Simple app with easy interface allows me to quickly setup my home WiFi choosing a channel not already crowded. Good work guys, keep it up!
May be the best in this specific task. Made by real programmers: small size, high quality, no asking for NONSENSE/RIDICULOUS permissions to be collected (like it had done by most other ads tracking tool --disguised as app). Ads seems not too intrusive, --until now. I really hope you make the same app for iPhone/iPad. Here on Android you can found many similar app. On apple, there's not a single one WiFi scanner like this.
