Free and ***no ads*** Yay! - a must have for the toolbox! Feels like a handheld meter, acts just like one, no instructions needed. One of the most handy tools in my box, with its wonderful graphing that can be paused and cleared; real time signal strength with graphs of nearby, selectable networks... Hey, it's just a great network discovery and analysis tool. I highly recommend: 👍 👍 👍
Excellent Tool. I use this by walking round the house checking nowhere has signal less than -60db. Lower signals than that e.g. -70db may work but give lower speed. Then adjust position of router (e.g. to a more central position in house) to see if coverage improves. If that fails then some sort of wifi extender or additional wired router may be needed.
Very close to perfect and NO ads The layout is good but the lack of instructions hurts the app. You can only see the band you are logged into on the meter setting with no way to check your other and other band on page 1. I could not find a way to change the channel graph to 5Ghz on page 2. The signal line graph works well on page 3, as does the signal strength meters on page 4. I sent an email to the developer to help solve the issue on page 2.
Analyser Excellent Been trying to figure out why my WiFi Fiber optic high speed network had recently lost signal range on my residential property? After trying out this app, I now know why. Not realizing that my router was default to (Auto channel #1) Many of my close neighbors upgraded their internet with new wireless routers and a high majority of the routers were all auto default channel #1. There was apparent interference and this app opened my eyes as I viewed the overlapping channel #1 signals. Excellent app it works great I can see all the wifi channel availability and decide which channel works best for my location. This app helped me get my signal strength and speed back to normal. You guys did a great job would have liked the meter case to be yellow like my fluke multimeter lol. Thanks again love this app and recommending it to all my tech buddies.
Very handy. But no spectrum for 5ghz This is a very handy portable analyzer which also has a user interface resembling real instrument. And there is no adware. Probably best in class. The minor deficiency - no separate specrum assignment view for 5ghz bands. In the list of avaiable ssids the 5ghz access points are shown, but listed in the same pile as 2.4ghz. It also lacks calibration of the signal strength scale, so these dbm values are not accurate and can be used only for relative measurements. Some space for improvement.
Unnecessary frame This app functions perfectly fine but that frame is completely unnecessary. I understand that it's supposed to make it look like an actual physical device and that works for tablets but my phone has a 4.5 inch screen and a lot of the real estate is completely wasted, making text too small to read comfortably.
Added pause button & a few other minor tweaks and fixes.
