Need to step up the competition Easily my favorite way to type. However overall accuracy seems to be lacking. Words that are only slightly off are not understood sometimes. Multitouch implementation is very good but other keyboards are now supporting this (including stock), so Keymonk needs to step up the game. Some easy fixes/improvements still have not been made.
Excellent concept This keyboard has an excellent concept, which works quite well in practice. Being able to swipe with two fingers is ingenious, not so much for portrait mode, but for landscape it is amazing. Unfortunately, the developer appears to have abandoned this keyboard, just before the world was supposed end. If the keyboard was perfect (it isn't) it wouldn't be such a big deal, but without any guarantees of future updates or bug fixes, buying the paid version would be like a buying a car that has been discontinued.
Mentally Exhausting (At First) But Fun I'm still starting to learn. The difficult part is preventing both thumbs from racing for the same letters. The free version isn't trial but locks you to a default setting; you'll have to buy the full version to unlock it. I'm not sure yet how effective it is, but it's super fun to use. The default minimalist design is really nice.
FINALLY For the first time since I switched from Blackberry to Android five years ago, I don't hate typing on my phone. Keymonk makes typing super quick and impressively (sometimes mind-bogglingly) accurate. The two-thumb sweeping was easier to get accustomed to than I thought it would be. Two (sweeping) thumbs up! I'm off to buy the full version right now!
Approaching greatness I've been using this keyboard for a few days, and I'm really enjoying it. However, a few problems. Sometimes a piece of the keyboard (top right side, in the prediction area) disappears, and the app below can be seen. Also, although I can't put my finger on it, something about the experience doesn't feel super smooth. will definitely buy it if it gets a few bug fixes. (Nexus 4)
It took a little bit to figure it out, but it's good. The developer no longer supports it though so I wouldn't buy it. I wish the free version could add to dictionary, then it'd be perfect. It's a little difficult to get the hang of anyway, & honestly I don't really swipe in landscape anyway. I would like it better if it was still being developed.
