It's good though the interface isn't the easiest. Not everything is clearly marked though once you get used to it it's fine. Would be nice to see current funding and time left in your backed list as well. Only real complaint is there's no way to send and receive messages through the app. You have to access it via the browser to see these.
First, the messaging system does not transfer over from the site so you still have to check your email or go on the site. Secondly would be awesome to have Google calendar compatibility, to automatically update your calenders to when pledges would be taken out and/or shipped/delivered. Great so and service overall.
It's nice to finally have an app so I can check things without having to use the web. Now, if only it had the ability to sort things like the website does, it would make my life easier. However, checking on projects works wonderfully. I like the interface. However, messaging needs to be improved do you can get messages from creators.
Love Kickstarter but this app is extremely slow. Each page takes forever to load, and every time you rotate your phone, it reloads the page. That's like pouring salty acid on an open wound. The YouTube videos that are embedded can't be full screened either. What's the point of downloading the app if chrome can do it better?
It would be great if they added the messaging to the app (or if it's there make it easy to find). As it is, I have to go to the full site to access messages which is cumbersome and irritating.
@Kickstarter - for the most part this app is great. The biggest peice that is missing is the search ability and structure of the comment section. I get no notification if my questions to the company are answered. This is nearly impossible to find your posts on popular funds. I believe it needs to be searchable with a filter to just show responces from the company. Also needs filters in the search to just show your posts. There should be a way to get notifications when someone mentions you (or @'s you)
