Review from Alex Cifuentes
The best to hide hot pics I was looking looking for this for years and finally I found it this app is exactly what you need for your privacy and save some personal pics I'm so happy with this I really recommended it's awesome.
The app used to be better but now it is too complex. I just want to hide/lock my photos not bury and encrypt them. This is now the third time I have upgraded my device while using this app and every time I am unable to get my pictures back. There needs to be a better restore option (even with a cracked screen) to get your pictures back. Biggest complaint from MANY people. Finding another app.
Serious bug that has not been fixed to this day: When 'importing' photos KeepSafe deceives you into thinking you've *moved* them from your gallery into their secure app - that is because they disappear from your gallery. However minutes later they mysteriously re-appear in your gallery, so instead of being moved they have just been copied. Fine... but don't deceive us into thinking they've been moved only to find out later that sensitive photos are still in your gallery for all to see. Horrible bug!
Had Keepsafe for over 3 years, free version, but now I can't access my photo's unless I upgrade to the paid subscription. There's no way around it (that I can see). I'm about to go overseas and there are important documents that I'll need access to and now I can't get to them....
I give this app big fat ZERO. If you loose your passWORD for any reason you can say goodbye to all those precious photos. This is because Keepsafe is supposed to send you a new passcode via the e-mail you registered with. The problem? The new passcode is supposed to be valid for 24 hours, and they never are. In addition to this discouraging problem, keepsafe will send you the same expired passcode over and over again. I received e-mail support from Julie and she completely avoided my the problem. As of February I have been locked out of my app. Be warned your putting all those photos in someone else hands.
I had about 207 pictures backed up on the cloud and I logged in on another device and all of them but 2 are gone now. It's telling me 197 of them are backed up but when I click on the album, there are only two pictures available. I just want my photos back.
Anything that starts off with the phrase "Millatry Grade Encryption" should set the alarm bells ringing. Using a 4 digit PIN code to protect your files is not very secure allowing "lost" password resets is just irresponsible!
* Fixed a crash on startup
* Fixed a crash when trying to view documents
* Introduced monthly subscriptions and a lifetime premium subscription option
Using Keepsafe on a new phone? Use the SAME Keepsafe registration email address from the OLD phone.
* Keepsafe requires Contact permission for Keepsafe to Keepsafe Sharing. This is in beta roll out for a subset of users right now.
