IMPORTANT NOTE!

As many of you are aware, there has been significant limiting changes to call recording capability in Android OS 9.0 (Oreo) and 10.0 updates which affects every manufacturer that has limited our call recorder's ability to capture both sides of the call recording on Android 9.0 or above. By default in many cases, only your own voice may be captured (or both sides on some devices when enabling the speakerphone, which is typically unsatisfactory in a private conversation!). However we have just released an update that by granting the "acessibility" permission to Total Recall at the time of installation, allows us to capture both sides of the call (although the resulting audio may be slightly lower than on previous OS versions)

Also on most major brand models, we have a complete solution to capture both sides of the call loud and clear - this feature is available only to "rooted" device users. Our new technology using "root" to overcome this limitation is based on a Magisk "systemless module", which allows direct access to both sides of the audio required. "Systemless" in effect means that no "real" disk modifications are applied directly to your device's /system directory. This is the preferred way to avoid any "permanent" changes to the core of the device which are difficult to "undo". Additionally this module can easily be unloaded at any time you desire.

Tried every setting. I have an older Moto G and it will only record my voice. UPDATE: It seems that the problem lies with Motorola and other certain manufacturers. They don't allow incoming signals to be recorded due to legal reasons .I'll be changing my phone then! In response to the developer's reply I tried every setting. All call recorder apps are the same

EDIT - Thanks for the email response explaining that the problem is due to Play Store policies. I followed your advice and I have updated my review up to 4 stars. Your app is working almost as well as before. Cheers. - EDIT I had the older (paid for) version of this that worked perfectly on my Pixel 2 with Android 8. The old app doesn't work on my newly acquired Pixel 4a with Android 12. This new version works as far as recording goes (albeit at a lower volume), but now all of the recordings show up as "Unknown Contact - Private Number", even though the numbers are in my contacts, and I have given Total Recall permission to access my contacts. Very annoying. How do I now find specific recordings without listening to them all? Very disappointing.

I have used this app for ages, I paid for the full version. It auto updated a while back, and regularly glitched out. I sent feedback, and heard nothing. I uninstalled, then reinstalled, only to find I have to pay yearly for this app. I paid, and for a short while, it worked. Now, it is the same as it was before..... Not working, or stopping mid phone call. I will not accept this from a free app, let alone one a paid app. Despite trying different things, it still isn't working 100% of the time!
