Fantastic device support backed up by rapid email response makes this the only flashlight app you will ever need and its free to use!
We have had many reports that this flashlight app works across many devices where others don't so if other flashlight apps have failed, maybe this is the one for you.
The permissions are to allow the application to access to the LED flashlight of the camera (if you have one) and the others are to show some ads to support development and for this only.
Keywords : brightest flashlight android, torch, strobe, brightest, best app, best flashlight, free phone app, tablet torch, free flashlight, linterna, phone, app,
It also allows you to set repeating sounds on vibration patterns for you notifications. You can also set a "sleep" mode or "on charge" where the lights and/or sounds and vibrations will not be heard or seen. If you've come from a Blackberry device and miss the features of BeBuzz / BerryBuzz then give LightFlow a try!
This program will allow you to control the notification color for the over 600 applications and system events such as:
* Missed calls
* Voice mail
* Calendar reminders
* SMS messages
* MMS messages
* Low battery
* No signal
* Google talk
...and many many more
See our website for a full list of applications supported:
It allows the colors to flash in succession, so if you have a new SMS and a missed call it can alternate between the two colors. You can also set which notification type has the highest priority and let it flash in just that one color.
It'll even push notifications out to your pebble smart watch, Sony smart Watch and the DashClock lock screen extension.

Samsung phones when accessibility is enabled may cause the phone to start talking, warnings about air view and a few other issues. These are confirmed samsung bugs (see here: http://developer.samsung.com/forum/board/thread/view.do?boardName=GeneralB&messageId=204387) but the app can be run without the accessibility service and still work (but with a reduced notification list)
Not all phones support all colors.
For example: Most HTC phones only support 3 colors and require "Rooting" and running the app in "direct mode"
Some phones can only light up the notification while the screen is off.
Some phones cannot have their notification light always on
Some phones cannot have their notification blink and it will always be on
Note that it will take over control of your notifications and you will therefore only get notifications for categories that the app allows.
★ We recommend you try the "lite" version first before purchasing to avoid any disappointment if it doesn't work for you. Some phones require root privileges to access the LEDs. ★
★ For the differences between this version and the lite version see here: http://www.folioflow.com/ff/page/website/lightflow/pageId/1687 ★
★ If after updating you have problems we recommend you reboot your phone ★
** Most HTC phones require "direct mode" setting. Most gingerbread builds for HTC phones require root access due to HTC changing the permissions on the LED control files. **
** If upgrading from the "lite" version, please uninstall the lite version first but you can backup and restore settings between versions **
Smart Connect extension for SmartWatch 2
LiveWare™ extension for SmartWatch
Turns your SmartWatch as a light source. Is severe on battery life, so be warned.
Swipe to change the light's intensity: upwards or rightwards to increase and downwards or leftwards to decrease.
LiveWare™ extension for SmartWatch.
You can select whether you want the screen in full black or full white with maximum brightness just by tapping the screen or shaking the phone a little bit, this shaking feature is really handy if you are sleepy and you can't find your phone in the middle of the night.
Additionally, tap and hold to progressively move from full dark screen to full brightness. and vice versa.
It is very important to keep your phone plugged to the power adapter while the app runs, the phone is always responsive and the screen and processor are ready for your input so if you don't plug your phone you would run out of battery in the middle of the night.
It is a free download which I hope you like it being such a simple app, and you find it useful. It is just launched so please rate it in the market and leave me your (hopefully constructive) comments and ideas for it.
SO, PLEASE DO NOT RATE ON ANDROID MARKET IF CALL LIGHT IS NOT WORKING FOR YOUR DEVICE.
Use Call Light to fix screen backlight timeout issue during phone calls.
*For phones running on Android OS 1.5 or higher.
*Please see application help for more information.
Please email any questions or comments.
Translations are welcomed.
Root access is needed for all version following the G2x Gingerbread update.
On ICS and more, the brightness levels are changed by the system each time the screen is off. So the application needs to change the brightness levels each time the user unlock.
Warning, this application is not and will not be compatible with other touch key notifications mechanisms.
There are dozens of similar flashlight apps. There are 3 major reasons to choose this one:
1. UNIQUE: This is the only flashlight app which turns off automatically! The application detects when you place the phone in your pocket and immediately turns the light off, thus saving your phone's battery life.
2. RARE: It's an optionally ad-free flashlight app (ads can be disabled in the app's settings)
Camera, Control flashlight - for controlling the flash LED,
Full network access, view network connections used for ads, collecting anonymous app usage statistics and error reporting. All three can be disabled in the settings screen (see privacy settings category)
Control vibration - for the haptic feedback (can be disabled in the settings screen)
Prevent device from sleeping - for the ability to keep the light on after dimming the screen
• Automatically turns off the light when you place the phone in your pocket or when you close the lid
• A widget, enabling you to turn the light on and off directly from the home or lock screen
• An option to use either the LED or the screen backlight (setting it to maximum brightness) as light sources
• Optionally ad-free (ads can be disabled)
• Home screen widgets of 3 different sizes + 1 lock screen widget.
• Ability to keep the LED after closing the app or locking the screen
• A battery level indicator
• Reminder in the notification panel when the LED is on
• Fully configurable
• Very bright - probably the brightest flashlight in the market
Please don't hesitate to mail me if you encounter any problem or if you'd like to propose new features!

More from developer
This is no frills (some even call it ugly) but still works nicely. (Cut me some slack, I wrote it in 2 days, using standard UI elements from FroYo. That said, I see no reason to update it unless I'm really fixing something.)
Simply select the application to see a list of activities. Then pick the activity you want launched. For example:
That's it. Connect your headset, hit the button and you're good to go.
Not all headsets work correctly. Some have odd behavior and do not follow the standard. I own only a couple of headsets and test to those.
Not all activities work correctly either. It is simply not possible for me to download and test every activity for every app. You are responsible for figuring out what works and what doesn't.
*REQUIRES BLN AND ROOT ACCESS*
Only works on the Galaxy S line.
By downloading and installing this you accept any and all consequences of running it. If this breaks your phone, well, that's too bad. I am not responsible for it.
Blinky is an enhancement app to the standard BLN which blinks the LEDs. It gives you an extraordinary amount of control, and can even vibrate for those who have their phone in their pocket.
Contact me with any bugs you find, and I'll do my best to resolve them.
If you're using this version, please uninstall the standard Keep The Lights On.
This is a simple little app for the Samsung Galaxy line of phones. It will not work for the Galaxy Tablet, as this is very hardware specific. E-mail me if it doesn't work for your Galaxy S phone, I'd like to make it work for everyone. REQUIRES root access.
It keeps the LEDs for the capsense buttons on while the screen is on. In order to do this it requires root access.
To use, simply install and then add the widget to a home screen. Click on the widget to enable and you're done. Click on the widget again to disable. Once enabled, you can simply remove the widget and the system will remember your settings.
By default the service is disabled when you install, as it is not possible to start a service on install.
