Perfect companion for RDIO/Spotify. I'm an Apple user for everything other than my phone. I have a HTC One running the latest CM 10.2 nightlies and it runs great with RDIO. This is the missing link to my home theatre/stereo/audio experience. Purchased after listening to one song. Thanks! EDIT: broken in CM12 nightlies.
Spotify out of tune I do not know how to say this but Spotify's songs seem out of tune when I hear with all stream to a appletv 3. First it looked like it would be my head but as I was listening to more music more I am sure that the sound is a little slow causing detuning . I did the Galaxy Note 4 root on purpose for this application. Can you help?
You need to fight You need to fight to make this app work on non-rooted phones. Android needs a new permission that allows an app like this to work. Email Google employees directly. Post bug reports saying the lack of this feature is a bug. Post heartfelt messages on forums. Do not give up. Just keep asking Google over and over again until they can comprehend why this is an extremely useful basic functionality for the future of mobile devices.
Doesn't work with an ethernet connection, Audio on device not sync'ed No ethernet support, has to use wifi. So not great for Android TV boxes/mini pc's. Worse for me though is, I cannot use this as a multiple speaker setup for Google Music (like I used to be able to do on iTunes). There is no way that I can find to delay the output of the speakers connected to the device to be in sync with the AirPlay speakers, so they are out of sync by 2 seconds which is a disaster when you are wanting to play your music all over the house in different rooms.
Ok Galaxy S4+Yamaha RX-V773 - works great! But a problem appeared. On Android 5.0.1 it streams the audio to headphones, if they are plugged in. Could you make it go to airplay anyways?
