About this app

Kivra keeps life in order by gathering your important documents in one place.
Kivra is a free digital mail service where you can receive invoices, letters, tickets, decisions, and other documents from both companies and authorities. With Kivra, you can receive digital mail, pay invoices, store and archive important documents for yourself and your family, and share them with people you choose.

After registering to the service, you will automatically start receiving digital mail from companies and organizations where you are a client. The service notifies you when new digital mail arrives and when due dates are approaching. You can use Kivra through the mobile app or via a web browser at www.kivra.fi.

DIGITAL MAIL FROM TENS OF THOUSANDS OF SENDERS
Tens of thousands of different companies, associations and organizations send digital mail through Kivra. Many Finnish cities, municipalities, and wellbeing services counties are also part of the service.

A SECURE WAY TO RECEIVE MAIL
Only verified senders can deliver mail to Kivra, and only strongly authenticated users can receive it. This means your Kivra inbox will never contain spam or phishing messages, only digital mail intended specifically for you.

PAY AND ARCHIVE INVOICES WITH EASE
You can pay invoices directly in Kivra using your online bank credentials. Payments can be made immediately or schedule them, for example for the due date.

STORE YOUR OWN DOCUMENTS
Are your letters, invoices, receipts, notes, and tickets scattered across different channels or lost in paper piles? Upload, organize, and categorize them in Kivra. No more searching when everything is in one place in Kivra.

MANAGE EVERYDAY MATTERS TOGETHER OR ON SOMEONE ELSE’S BEHALF
You can share access to your Kivra account with another Kivra user. Both of you will receive notifications of new digital mail, and either of you can pay invoices or browse documents.

FREE SERVICE
Kivra is a free service for consumers, as companies and organizations pay Kivra a digital postage fee to deliver documents. Anyone over the age of 15 with strong electronic identification in Finland can use Kivra.

KIVRA DOES NOT SHARE DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
In Kivra, the user owns their own data. Kivra is a secure service that does not disclose users’ data to third parties or sell it for marketing purposes.

KIVRA KEEPS YOUR LIFE IN ORDER.

Downloaded this app for tiketti tickets. Suddenly bills come in this app too and not via posti without even giving a clear explicit permission or "opt-in" for that. Weird and scummy. Missed some bills for that reason.

Thank you for the feedback. Kivra is a digital mail service, the idea of which is to receive invoices and letters as digital mail; event tickets can also be received in the service. The nature of the service is clearly described, for example, on our website and during the Kivra registration phase. YT, Erik / Kivra's customer support

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I had to create an account to get a ticket for a concert, and suddenly, all bills come ONLY there. What happened to consent? I feel violated. The only way to stop all your mail going to the app is to enter each company to the "blocked list" BUT they only appear as an option AFTER they have sent you a bill. My only hope is that deleting the account will not have messed with my mail forever. what a nightmare -10 / 10

Kivra is optional, and is one of several ticket delivery options. The idea of Kivra is to receive digital mail, such as letters, invoices etc. digitally. This is explained clearly, e.g. on our website, registration flow, onboarding on the app, terms & conditions. Sorry to hear our service did not meet your expectations. - Kivra's customer service

I don't think it's clear enough that your invoices will start getting sent through Kivra once you sign up for something unrelated (for example, not having to pay a service fee while buying a ticket was the reason I used it, so I assumed it was something events related only). I know many people who never got notified their bills got sent there, and ended up having to pay late fees.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Kivra is a digital mail service designed to automatically digitize various types of mail when you start using it, for example event tickets from ticket sales platforms. Kivra sends notifications of received mail via push notifications, email, and text messages. Kind regards, Jenna Kivra Customer Support
