The only thing it seams to take forever to get is my location. It is along with Google Earth the perfect instrument to share your location if you already know were you are.
Good app easy to use. Need more REFINEMENT Its a good app to share ur location. But it needs some refinement. 1 option of adding text message should be given at the bottom , every time adding new text before sending , One has to go to menu , and that is annoying. So adding text along location should be USER FRIENDLY not complicated.
Very nice app. But the messages are always sent as mms and not as sms which needs mobile data to be working. Would been more usefull if can send my coordinates without needing the mobile data.!?
Love this app One thing I want in the next version is a widget that I can hit that immediately messages all my ice contacts my location. Would be a really helpful safety device. Just a location and a message like Help I'm in trouble or whatever. Just an idea. Otherwise I love the app
Excellent app, extremely useful I've been running it on my Samsung Note 2 for years without fail. Best of all it even works without a data connection. You may not see the map but it still locates you and sends an SMS of your coords. I've also installed it on both generations of my kids phones...first on Samsung Galaxy 551 (GT-i5510M) now on the Samsung Galaxy Core LTEs...again without data, works perfectly. Only thing I would ask Ken is for one touch send buttons (max 3) or widgets to auto send to predefined receipients. Great work Ken!
Works great I love being able to share the exact location from my phone. My apartment is hard to find so I send exact coordinates so people can find me. Wish I could choose to send coordinate in decimal instead of minutes and seconds but that is a small thing.
Version 2.1: Better way of moving your position by hand: Just pan the map instead of dragging the pin!
Version 2.0: New and updated for modern Android devices!
Now you can include your GPS Coordinates, Street Address, and an app link! Plus, you can manually reposition the pin by long pressing and dragging it.
