This is one of the best twitter apps I've used, honestly. It's very streamlined and neat, yet customizable so it suits your tastes. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a feature like Carbon where you use a two finger swipe down to go immediately to the top of your feed. Other than that personal wish, this app is pretty dang awesome. 😀

Pls update this app to show the verified accounts of celebs while searching.. The 'tick' symbol near the accounts can be shown during the predictions. One has to go through each and every account to know if it is verified or not. That's kinda tiring.

Has gotten worse with updates. Especially annoying is the fact that threads don't always load and the swipe function tends to be extremely sensitive, thus making one scroll down again and again to actually get to the same position. The lack of thread functionality is really annoying,as the app almost never properly recognises threads.

This is the only way to interface with Twitter. I had the pervious version and it was the best but this completely blows it away. Beautiful material design with loads of customization options. Handles multiple accounts with ability to quickly switch. If you use Twitter at all regularly, this is a must.

Talon doesn't have control over anything like that, I only get to make a request to Twitter for you to start following someone new. How do you know that that is what is making it fail?

Found this really frustrating as it could've been great.. But even a simple action like favouriting someone's tweet in your time line changes from one click to 3, with an irritating wait for tweets above and below to load before you can click like and, once you have, no real visual feedback that it's worked (you get a message but the heart doesn't light up). Also no indication of popularity of tweets on TL, and the text describing who's retweeted what is tiny. Overall disappointing

You can access the favorite and other action buttons much faster via the quick actions section. Tapping the date section of the tweet will get you there. You could also long click the tweet to get to those actions, as well as the favorite/retweet count

Such a beautiful app, but please consider making changes to navigation. Make lists more accessible (check out Falcon's Pro right-swipe menu), maybe add a share button to user profiles. And it takes way too much Back button mashing to get back to timeline from inside a particular tweet. Other than that - one of the best twitter clients out there. I hope you will keep working on it.

You can add lists as swipable pages from settings, which, in my opinion, is much better than selecting them from any menus.

This is the best Twitter app I've found, it handles the timeline perfectly, by picking up where you left off and jumping to the top only if you wish. It's also regularly updated and carries all the newest Twitter features. Glad I finally got on board with Talon.

Bug where if I click on a notification, the app only snows me the latest message in the thread, displaying a progress bar, but never loading the rest of the messages. Program author acknowledges the problem but doesn't show any urgency in fixing it. Would be around 4 stars if this was fixed. I'm using the Flamingo app now. My annoyance was with the developers lack luster response to my question (via twitter) "will it get fixed in a future update?" to which he replied "I hope so". This is a fundamental feature that is essential to an app of this type. If the developer is serious about charging for the product and he wants to maintain the products status in the Google play charts, then he must give a positive and professional response to support requests.

You can long click the app bar to jump to the top. I did not want the single tap to be such a destructive action, a lot of thought went into that UX decision actually. For more info like this, please check the FAQ section of settings.

No third party apps can support group direct messages. Twitter does not allow it, unfortunately.

Talon's notifications run off of background refreshes. Twitter no longer provides access to the services I would need to set up push notifications. If you check out the FAQ section of settings, it will walk you through what is required for notifications.

Sorry, this limitation is stated in the app description. Until Twitter changes their policy on the number of users a third party app can have, I won't be able to change this.

Updated from a while using and I still love it over all the others. Tried another on this device when I switched but notification w/ other apps tried is hinky. I have some linked content loading issues at times when opening retweeted content... Usually have to go to poster 'sur feed to see/reply. Minor & fixable by comparison to competitor's hang-ups. Keep up the good work.

I had no interest in buying this app until it was on sale. I find that the app is really nice looking performs quite well. Who would be nice if everything could be even more compact than I've tried to make it.
