How to Access Cinema Soundbar and Fives, Sevens, and Nines Virtual Remote Capabilities


Cinema 1200, 800, and 700


Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the soundbar be running the latest update. This normally happens automatically when the soundbar has been connected to the Internet, either via Klipsch Connect or Google Home. If your device has not been connected to the Internet, please contact our Product Support Team for assistance. See details below.

The Fives, The Sevens, and The Nines, including McLaren Editions


Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the powered monitors be running the latest update. If you have not updated your Fives already, please download the free "Klipsch The Fives Updater" app. This will walk you through the update process. After the update is complete, all future updates will come through Klipsch Connect. Our Product Support team can walk you through the entire process. Simply reach out to us at:

Garbage. Does nothing but make me rename my cinema 1200 over and over. Never gets past that point.. The app got more useless since my last review and usage. Still problems today.. sub cuts out constantly. Even in scenes where it clearly should work or was working then just dropped out. App is useless. Sound bar is absolutely mediocre for the price.. I'm done with soundbars. Stick to receivers like sony and just buy klipsch wired speakers. A shame.

Klipsch has yet again made a completely garbage app. It's worthless literally. I have a dozen Klipsch speakers from ht, portable, headphones, tabletop, etc and I've tried a dozen times. This app just sits and spins. It has never connected to one speaker. It is the third garbage app from klipsch. I have no idea what they are thinking.

App has been significantly overhauled and communicates well now. As many have asked would be nice to have a 5 channel EQ. The hardware supports it for the 700-800 Model Klipsch. Many improvements have been made in a lot of areas. Klipsch team, please consider adding to the EQ. Would also be nice to see additional sound options similar to what Samsung did with there newer TVs.
