Ultra light, Ultra quick! Installed Flick Notes first and was sad over how slow it performed in my HTC Chacha... Well NA does the same note taking (minus the formatting) in half the time, and is much more efficient at syncing. I'm delighted! Four stars, not five for the lack of optional sorting order ;) I'd want them alphabeticqally! Hehe
Does what I need Flick Note doesn't sync any longer, so I tried this, and it works great for what I need it to do. I do wish you could see the note's title in the page view; for me, that title is part of the note's data. This does need a one-touch method for returning to the list view. Presently, you have to tap in the search box, backspace over the search text, and hit your phone's back button to get rid of the keyboard.
Solid--phone + tablet Very well done, and nearly as full-featured as the Mac app; would be nice if the developer added a few more features, as possible, from it. It's annoying to not have the tab key available (mostly a keyboard issue), and there should be an option for a tab to be equivalent to a certain number of spaces. Overall, excellent work, which adheres to the NV philosophy.
Needs sorting I know that it is meant to be minimalistic, but it's gone just a bit too far. The ability to switch between light and dark themes would be wicked useful. However, more than anything I just wish I could sort the notes alphabetically.
Works well Overall a good app. Not sure if it's a problem with the app or with HTC but the menu bar at the bottom of my One X stays even though this is a holo/ICS app. Also a better icon would be appreciated
Promising, but needs work I hope this app will improve; I'm an iOS refugee dismayed by the poor selection of note-taking apps on Android. This one has potential. My three main complaints are 1) frequent unexplained sync errors with Simplenote, 2) the eye-hurting white on black scheme, and 3) no support for tags.
- Correctly sync UTF-8 characters (this should fix most sync issues)
- Resize window on keyboard popup
- Sync tags (still no UI)
